Meh, I don't like being the mainstream race. People tend to pick the hardest races/classes/weapons less and that's when you can stand out.

Same, I played a few matches against the Easy computer earlier (my first time playing Zerg, didn't have any idea how to play it before.)
First match I just constantly churned out Zerglings and attacked the computer within 8 minutes after his 2nd attack.
Second match I tried to play different and learn more and I got bum raped. I know what I'd do differently next time though, more spine crawler towers near the ramps up to my base (I made the mistake of attacking them with my Zerglings as they were coming up the ramp) and more air units (early on the computer didn't seem to create any anti-air stuff apart from Marines.)

Seems like I am pretty decent with Zerg. I've won 3 out of 4 placement matches. And those were my first 3 Zerg matches ever.

Build drones and harvest minerals, at 9 spawn an overlord, start grabbing some vespine, at 13 drones build a spawning pool, make a queen, spray some love-goo on the base, upgrade it, make a spire, spawn some mutilisks kill their economy

I like messing with the AI.
Last game it was me as Zerg against medium AI Protoss and Terran. By the end of the game I already had a huge Zerg/Protoss/Terran army and wiped them off the map. Made me feel like a badass.

This. It seems like you have to have the perfect build order when playing zerg, or you just get fucked over because the AI builds much faster than you (or a real opponent respectively). :(
Same could be said for any race though.
Zerg is harder than the other races to learn, but they are just as effective once you know what to do.
Well, I just won a game using that tactic. Pity he ragequitted near the end though so I never got to destroy his base :saddowns:

The nicest people I've seen in starcraft 2 were in the placement matches, they all beat me so I probably won't see those fine gents again :sigh:
