just recently started playing multiplayer i'm still in the novice zones, i don't dare venture out of them for fear of getting arse raped 9 games out of 10
I actually did 5 novice league matches, i can honestly say their probably more harm than help. just turns into a race of huge amassed units after the debris is destroyed.
By just about everyone in this thread. Isn't Heart of the Swarm going to have RPG elements in it? I got the feeling the secret mission was sort of like a beta test to see if anyone would like that system.
I hope not, Dawn of war 2 tried it and it was awful.
I hope not, Dawn of war 2 tried it and it was awful.
The bonus campaign in WC3 wasn't that bad.
I hope not, Dawn of war 2 tried it and it was awful.
It will, they have stated that in HotS "The campaign is focused on Kerrigan and the development of a zerg empire. The campaign operates similarly to an RPG, in which Kerrigan is focused on increasing her personal power through mutations. Zerg armies protect her as she garners this power. The greater her power, the more zerg she's able to control. Like Wings of Liberty, the player will be presented with choices as to which missions to carry out and which units to get, but such choices won't be based on cash. Both the missions and their objectives are intended to be quite different from the ones featured in Wings of Liberty.".

It makes little sense to me too (actually it makes no sense at all), because if [sp]she was turned human, she wouldn't mutate. Heck even if she was partially returned to human (not completely), mutating would turn her to a Zerg again.[/sp] [editline]01:38PM[/editline] [sp]Not to mention they didn't say "grow in power" (which could have meant psionic power, which would be perfectly possible for her human form), they said "mutate".[/sp]
There should be a copper league for shit players like me. Wasn't there one in SC1?
Is there an element more shitty than copper? i should be there :p
There should be a copper league for shit players like me. Wasn't there one in SC1?
Copper league is bronze league.
Is there an element more shitty than copper? i should be there :p
Tin?
Tin?
I was hoping for mold or dust-league.
http://www.youtube.com/hdstarcraft#g/u http://www.youtube.com/huskystarcraft#g/u
And psystarcraft.
There should be a copper league for shit players like me. Wasn't there one in SC1?
There was in the beta, but they took it out and added diamond league. So basically Bronze became Copper, Silver became Bronze, Gold became Silver etc.
There was in the beta, but they took it out and added diamond league. So basically Bronze became Copper, Silver became Bronze, Gold became Silver etc.
Switch those around.
I meant that as in Bronze is the new Copper, Silver is the new Bronze, Gold is the new Silver etc.
your avatar freaks me out :ohdear:

Now they want to mutate the shit out of her again? Anyway, I look forward to it and I'm sure it will be fun nonthless, but hopefully less mainstream.[/sp] Care to post the link aswell? Might be a good read about HotS.
Playing platinum zerg sure is hard.
Just finished the secret mission :iia: especially the final part
your avatar freaks me out :ohdear:
Working as intended.

I've never played starcraft in my life but this looks pretty cool. Is it worth getting with no RTS experience at all or will I just get ass raped by everyone and have no fun.
@acds: Thanks. It's not much, but they will update the site over time. I guess Blizzard won't say anything about it for the next few months though.
Woah funky glitch on meinhoff mission, when you discover that there are infestors and you have firebats near the infestors they automatically kill the infestors before they can even burrow
