Yes. Not as fast as possible, but zerg has the macro ability to take over everything.

You are zerg. Your EVERYTHING comes from making 3 times as much as your enemy does. You need to be rolling in resources, to the point where you don't know what to do with them. An expansion costs only 300 minerals to make, yet can yeild an enormous amount of resources later on. If you have more than 500 minerals and all your larva are building, expand.
Name of the game is map control
You attacked him at HIS base, where his turrets were with a dedicated anti air units. You also once again stopped building, you knew he was going for void ray spam, you should have kept getting corrupters/hydralisks.
Again, thanks for the tips, this will help my game greatly.
Sure thing
but yeah, countering something like mass voids requires good information on what the enemy is doing at all times.
I play zerg and don't rush, and I am in diamond.
Give me some replays, I want to see how you roll.
Can someone tell me why i always get placed with noobs in my team who dont know what to do? it always says the other Team is Favored.

I'm not at my home computer right now, I'll put them up in ~3 days when I get home.
P.S. I am low diamond so expect both me and my opponent to make mistakes

I've had the exact same experience
Enemy team is favored = you get more points if you win
Lost all my 5 placement matches today so now i'm placed in bronze league :(. And i wouldn't ´say i'm that bad protoss player.
Doesn't that it also handicaps you slightly?

I haven't played my 1v1 placements yet but I will lol if it puts in me in bronze. I kind of want to dominate people for fun.

Yeah i usually use the 4 Gate build to rush but in the last 2 games i totally looked off the map and as finally found the Terran player he had barrricaded himself ofc with supply depots and a bunker behind + tons of marauders = no chance :| hehe
Holy bollocks fucking shitballs I put in the platinum league, 1 loss 4 wins :O
Anyone getting battle.net temporary unavailable messages when attempting to login?

I usually go 3 gate on my first base now and wind up at 4 gate 2 robo after I expand
@Krepps:
Thanks, I'm looking forward to it.
Does anyone find it wrong to laugh the minute you see a opponent building battlecruisers?
Did a couple 3 person FFAs with friends last night with no repeat races. The last match was by far the best. It started with me getting Zergling rushed as Toss. Then Zerg getting MMM raped by Terran. And then with my renewed economy and 7 Warpgates, I Stalker+Collosi raped Terran from behind his main base and expos. And since Terran didn't get time to clean up the Zerg drones, the Zerg had time to rebuild during my prolonged attack vs Terran. So Zerg built 62(20 in reserve) Mutalisks and overwhelmed everything I and Terran had left within 5 minutes.
Going to try my first platinum match. Wish me luck.

I always do. They just aren't good at any one thing.

I do because I just go HTs.

Good players can use battlecruisers to great effect. The problem is lots of new players go "ooh, it's big and expensive. it must be awesome". It's not like carrier spam in sc1, where 1a2a3a works.
Just fought a guy who tried to use a photon cannon rush on me than tried to use void ray spam.
Fought his photon cannon rush by attacking him with SCVs, surprisingly they are pretty good at taking apart photon cannons. Then I kept nuking his stargates which kept him from making void rays, he managed to get 6 out, killed 2 when he passed by my main attack force than killed the rest with 7 vikings. I love this game.
Protip: Don't be afraid to put an AA tower or two up in your base as a Terran if you think they have DTs. The detection works just as well on the ground as it does in the air. Put it right next to your wall should you wall off.
I love "failed" pushes. I send only some of my units at their base to be annihilated and then they counterpush only to find out that that wasn't my actual push and then I counter push the fuck out of them. Winning brings out the man in me.
I'm getting boned in platinum
