Void rays aren't OP at all. The fact that you are refusing to accept the fact they are extremely easy to counter doesn't change that.
Oh god this thread is hilarious. Broken easy to mass unit that can obliterate everything along with being fast as shit. Typical protoss players, probably the same players that spammed sc2 fourms saying roaches were overpowered in beta until blizzard did something about it. I agree they were overpowered, but when it comes to voidrays, god no they are perfectly balanced learn to adapt herp derp.
2 void rays take 14 seconds to take out a supply depot thors have an ability that does 83 dps
Oh and yea they are faster than stimed marines. And even if they weren't void rays easily can get out of range/out of reach and go about their business.
I don't even use void rays lol
uh if the enemy is spamming void rays it usually means that they have nothing else at their base because void rays are expensive as fuck

Ok good job you proved that a stimed marine has the same speed as a voidray. 2.25 + 1.125 = 3.375 speed. It would keep it's distance with your marines. Sure you might get ones shield down but marines can't run and shoot. Wooaaahhh It's not like zerg or terran have a flying one shot wonder flying unit with stupid long range. Colloci are even more deadly than void rays, but you can counter them, no one is bitching about them.

You can't just waltz a thor into some ones base unless you take a risk by medivacing it in. Void rays however can enter and destroy anything they want and leave just as fast with little or no risk.

Zerg has AA and AG only air units. Terran has an AG only air unit and one that can switch. Where is the problem? Zerg and Terran both have balanced air. Both of Terran's and Zerg's air is easily countered. Void rays are not easliy countered, ESPECIALLY when backed by something like stalkers. Protoss has AA only air units? what? Void rays can attack ground and air.
