[sp]Than use the battlecruisers on the Nyduses or get some banshees together. I didn't use mercs for that mission. To costly in my eyes.[/sp]
[sp]I'm pretty sure the merc battlecruiser costs the same as a regular one. 400 minerals and 300 vespene. I fucking hate All In. I set up a bunker wall on each side with 8 SCVs on repair duty (4 on each side), and a line of those hidden flamethrowers for good measure. Then FUCKING KERRIGAN WALTZES OVER AND ONE SHOTS MY 700 HEALTH FULLY ARMORED MERC BATTLECRUISER AND USED AN ABILITY THAT KILLED ALL OF MY SCVS AND DESTROYED MY BUNKERS. I never ragequit so hard in my life.[/sp]
i don't think i've ever played an RTS this clean and smooth very good job blizzard
Allright guys, now that the hype has hopefully settled down a bit and you all have clean heads.. Opinions on the game? :p might pop out to game and grab it today, i get paid. :3
i see no difference between this and starcraft 1, same shit, same gameplay, same everything pretty much oh well its still warcraft and space and its still pretty cool
i see no difference between this and starcraft 1, same shit, same gameplay, same everything pretty much oh well its still warcraft and space and its still pretty cool
This is not Warcraft in space!
Just had my first multiplayer game against random people (Yesterday i was tired as hell/only played with friends) so i didnt get much done, I randomed the zerg and did alright we actually won, which i was surprised about i was expected to just get destroyed. Well, after buying it... I got on, put in my activation code, and got started up... I decide to play the strongest A.I. for 4 games on 1v1 maps... I choose Zergs for all 4 games and I get owned 10 minutes into my first three games... then in the 4th game I lasted 20 minutes... but I got epically got owned in the end o.o I then finally realized I was a bad Zerg player
I really enjoyed the Warcraft 3 campaigns. Thoughts on SC2's singleplayer?
Success! Your account was upgraded to Wings of Liberty! Yay!

Does anyone else have absurdly long load times for stuff in the campaign? The multiplayer loads perfectly fine but the singleplayer takes forever.
I just finished the campaign and it was awesome, now I have to wait for a year or two for the next one :sigh: also some tips for the last mission [sp]Spam the shit out of siege tanks and place them behind bunks in the choke points Build 4 bunkers each side loaded with marines fulled upped bunks put 4 science vessels if you have them at both choke points in case a few zerg hit the tanks barricade off the each choke point with a line of supply depots (hopefully you have the instant drop) get a task force of about 8 battle cruisers and 7-8 banshees use the battle cruisers and banshees to take out the nydus worms outside your base THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT or you will get overruned and die. When Kerrigan appears take your battle cruiser task group and some science vessels and intercept her outside the base, yamto her down and finish her then return and repair them and let them recharge. Put 5 SCVS at both choke points and let them roam around and fix things, the Zerg usually ignore them. You can use the artifact right away at the start if you need to buy more time to get ready, after that save it if you need a break to repair and heal everyone.[/sp] Also got a spare U.S guest pass if anyone wants it Guest pass is gone now

It's 11:30. Where the hell is the motherfucking postman?
[sp]As soon as I got cattlebruisers, I just massed them and never got close to losing a mission. The finale just ended with me swarming the map with a 15-BC death fleet while my bunker wall and missile turrets took out the rest (I blew up the Nydus Canal). Whenever Kerrigan showed up, trudge my Norse Gods back to the base and slap her back down again, if she hadn't already gibbed herself on my 5 fully upgraded bunkers. As for the game, it was... good. I'm not going to say excellent because there's still a handful of glaring flaws, the writing and horrific cliche abuse being the biggest of all. I think the most fun will come from the multiplayer, for sure. I did side with the ghosts, and I'm glad I did. The cutscene that followed is awesome.[/sp]
It's 11:30. Where the hell is the motherfucking postman?
All good things come in due time. However i will express my opinions in an MSpaint comic of top notch crappy quality. thumb'd for size [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9488680/SC2prediction.png[/img_thumb] Ok! you caught me, it's done in GIMP.
Anyone here at the level of a Korean Starcraft 2 player?
I got the game but I'm so awful at it :smith:
I got the game but I'm so awful at it :smith:
This isn't just a game soldier, this is the real deal. Get training.
Tosh or [sp]Nova[/sp]... Bros before hoes, or hoes before bros?
I wanted this game for the custom maps, but after seeing that 85% of the servers are just tower defence/ dota shit, I guess the community is disappointing. oh well, theres a few cool custom maps.
Well it's been less than 24 hours dude. Give it time.
I wanted this game for the custom maps, but after seeing that 85% of the servers are just tower defence/ dota shit, I guess the community is disappointing. oh well, theres a few cool custom maps.
It could take months for the good custom maps to surface. It's been barely a day as of now.
I really love Dark Templars. They one shot so much. Get one in the early game and kill workers and most people ragequit thereafter. (Hell, I tried it on a PC and he gg'd after I killed 3 workers. Heh?)
Gah, I need to find money, Maybe I could borrow money Hmmm...
Anyone tell me if the blizzard patcher is any good for downloading it? im fairly lazy and going to the shop for it is a 10 min ride in the other way from home :p

(Hell, I tried it on a PC and he gg'd after I killed 3 workers. Heh?)
I'll admit a couple times I have fucked up bad playing as Terran and forgetting detectors but I don't think I've ever managed to actually lose to a dt rush. Usually you've scouted out the enemy base long ago and know exactly what they're planning on so you throw up some missile turrets and save up your comsat energy and you're set.
Tosh or [sp]Nova[/sp]... Bros before hoes, or hoes before bros?
[sp]I haven't tried siding with Tosh yet, but I loved the Nova mission and especially loved the cutscene afterwords.[/sp]
