[sp]I chose Nova because Tosh was fucking creepy.[/sp]
Nova is hot, Tosh is an asshole. Can you guess who I sided with? :D
He's not wrong.
Nova works for Mengsk, you're completely undermining your own revolution here by siding with the enemy and betraying your friends.
And tosh is an asshole who [sp]basically mind controls people into fighting for him[/sp]
Actually in one talk if you side with tosh I think it says [sp] the spectres are no different then ordinary people and what nova was saying about spectres was a lie[/sp]
And tosh is an asshole who [sp]basically mind controls people into fighting for him[/sp]
[sp]You only get that if you side with Nova, as far as I'm concerned he was just a bit eccentric.[/sp]
I [sp]sided with Nova because Tosh didn't deny that he was going to free murderers and psychos, plus I remember waiting for SC:Ghost for years, so I chose Nova for that too.[/sp]
[sp]You only get that if you side with Nova, as far as I'm concerned he was just a bit eccentric.[/sp]
[sp]What, so Tosh only builds this whole base thing in the day or two he goes away? That doesn't make sense[/sp]
Actually in one talk if you side with tosh I think it says [sp] the spectres are no different then ordinary people and what nova was saying about spectres was a lie[/sp]
The game adjusts to your decisions, if you [sp]side with Nova then those prisoners were murderers and maniacs, if you side with Tosh they are good.[/sp]
[sp]What, so Tosh only builds this whole base thing in the day or two he goes away? That doesn't make sense[/sp]
[sp]I didn't say that, I'm saying that the facility is simply to recruit people. As far as I'm concerned he's not doing anything evil, simply building an army to take it to Mengsk. Same as Raynor.[/sp]
The game adjusts to your decisions, if you [sp]side with Nova then those prisoners were murderers and maniacs, if you side with Tosh they are good.[/sp]
Basically this, I think it was a stupid way to do it though.
The game adjusts to your decisions, if you [sp]side with Nova then those prisoners were murderers and maniacs, if you side with Tosh they are good.[/sp]
Wait really? Heh, crazy. Guess you never make the wrong decision then.
I didn't like Tosh anyways. I spoke to him once but that was only so I could get the Stay Awhile and Listen achievement. He was creepy, and seemed very dickish to me.
[sp]If you choose Tosh, the prison will be full of scientists and free thinkers. Also doctor hanson investigates Tosh and concludes that he's not mind controlling people, and that spectres are just like regular humans.[/sp]

I like both charaters and picked Nova, but I know that Tosh is a good guy and loyal to death. He's just a bit eccentric and shady. Next time I'll rather pick him and free the victims of the dominion.[/sp]
Noone up for 2 vs 2 in EU? :frown:
Still it's better to choose [sp]Tosh because you get to keep another character to talk to,[/sp] he's pretty cool later too.
Wew! Woke up and I was 56th in my league and I worked myself back up to 25th
The game adjusts to your decisions, if you [sp]side with Nova then those prisoners were murderers and maniacs, if you side with Tosh they are good.[/sp]
[sp]Yeah, I guess this is what happened to the Haven mission too, so you can never pick the wrong choice. Honestly I like this system better because you don't have to restart the whole campaign just because you clicked the wrong button.[/sp] Man every day everyone in this thread gets better at SC2. By the time I buy it everyone would be in the diamond league already. :saddowns:
The Nova cutscene if anyone's interested: here. Warning, spoliers. (duh)
[sp]Does Tychus die?[/sp]
[sp]Does Tychus die?[/sp]
No, I think he complains of a few aches if you talk to him after [editline]06:18PM[/editline]
Man every day everyone in this thread gets better at SC2. By the time I buy it everyone would be in the diamond league already. :saddowns:
Join the party, I'm still shit as protoss and they're my best race :saddowns:
By the way, you can always use the mission replay thing to play the missions you'd get from the other choice. It will unlock the alternative cutscenes too.
Gah! 4th time meeting zerg in a row :saddowns:
Man every day everyone in this thread gets better at SC2. By the time I buy it everyone would be in the diamond league already. :saddowns:
Nah, I'm gonna be in gold for awhile.
Join the party, I'm still shit as protoss and they're my best race :saddowns:
Yeah but I'll probably have to wait a few months until I can buy it and by that time you'll be able to kick my ass :saddowns:
Got it yesterday, ordered for two weeks ago :sigh: I love playing Protoss. Their carriers are so good. Sc1 was a blast, Sc2 is too. Though i can't play this unless i have everything on low.
[sp]Does Tychus die?[/sp]
[sp]Not yet[/sp] [editline]01:28PM[/editline]
Got it yesterday, ordered for two weeks ago :sigh: I love playing Protoss. Nice laptop, but I just wish I could see it the way it's meant to be seen.
By the way, you can always use the mission replay thing to play the missions you'd get from the other choice. It will unlock the alternative cutscenes too.
But I will keep [sp]Tosh[/sp] right?
But I will keep [sp]Tosh[/sp] right?
Yeah, it won't change any of the campaign stuff, it'll just let you play through the mission and unlocks the cutscenes.
Still can't get the hang of Zerg... I should probably just stick with Terran :sigh:
Yeah, it won't change any of the campaign stuff, it'll just let you play through the mission and unlocks the cutscenes.
But the secret mission cannot be unlocked if you go the mission and find it, you have to run all the way through the campaign to play it
