Yeah, but uploading it would be better, I'm not at my SC2 pc.
Muta ling is fairly common
I know, but I didn't know he had lings until he attack with them, I didn't see them in his main or any of the expos.
Muta ling is fairly common
and extremely effective. [editline]06:54PM[/editline]
I know, but I didn't know he had lings until he attack with them, I didn't see them in his main or any of the expos.
If you see muta's, assume lings are there in at least some number. Running just a large ball of mutas isn't that great. You can harass with 10-20 and that's fine, but a full attack of just muta's isn't going to do it sometimes, so just assume lings. If you're wrong, as terran or protoss, you're not that worried.
Hey Dragon/Johnny, why was Mr_Razzums banned? He doesn't know why, and nothing is showing up in his ban history.
Oh great 7gb download lol.
Man up I installed from the DVD for just under 2 hours. [editline]01:13PM[/editline] Also mass Vikings are so awesome when you have some Dark Templars stalking them :ninja:

No you stalk them till they transform. Doesn't work usually but when it does :smug:
I wish there was a single player demo I could try because I never played through the first game and I don't know if I'd like this or not.
Uh I suggest you play through the first game then, it is killer. I just popped it in the other day to play it again. Always fun.
SC1 is so different from SC2 I don't recommend it, totally different games if ya ask me. http://www.sc2replayed.com/replays/57458-1v1-terran-protoss-lost-temple Some guy telling me toss is OP, which I wouldn't go as far as saying they are OP, but they are definitely pretty fucking powerful.
Uh I suggest you play through the first game then, it is killer. I just popped it in the other day to play it again. Always fun.
What I mean to say is that I played a bit of the first, but never entirely through it. Also for some reason I'm downloading four times faster with P2P off than on.
I'm downloading four times faster with P2P off than on.
P2P makes you upload more than or about as much as you download. it is quite gay.
P2P makes you upload more than or about as much as you download. it is quite gay.
It can boost download speeds for some though I think especially if you have a faster internet connection that can get bottlenecked by blizzard's servers
It can boost download speeds for some though I think especially if you have a faster internet connection that can get bottlenecked by blizzard's servers
I have a 500 kb/s bandwidth connection, and P2P made me download at roughly 200 kb/s and upload at 300 kb/s. Turned it off and my download rate shot up to 400 kb/s. Just my experience. Finally spotted a 3M build and countered with High Temps, Stalkers and sentries. Did a little pat on the back afterwards. Not a huge deal, but watching those starcraft casts really help. Havent really seen a reaper rush since ive gotten out of the novice maps, but I could never really counter it without some probe casualties.
free at last free at last I am unbanned.

Also I've been looking for a way to defend against MMM as toss, high temps are a good idea... off to sc2 casts away.
heh. I suck at maneuvering them. lost ones I could of saved; real bummer.
I have claimed my righteous title as number 1 in my gold division Speedlings will rip a dumb player apart if they're not ready for 24 of them
Hellion harassment is so much fun against Zerg. Draw queen off of creep and cook 'er.
Hellion harassment is so much fun against Zerg. Draw queen off of creep and cook 'er.
Hellions are ok, but it takes soooooo little queen micro to stop out a hellion harass.
Hellions are ok, but it takes soooooo little queen micro to stop out a hellion harass.
Just keep the queen on the creep and you should be fine.
Hellions are ok, but it takes soooooo little queen micro to stop out a hellion harass.
I think hellions out range queens [editline]10:20PM[/editline] Also just placed platinum, my last game was insane I thought i was done for but managed to turn it around doing the same lame shit he did. [editline]10:21PM[/editline] http://www.sc2replayed.com/replays/57507-1v1-terran-desert-oasis
Hellion harassment is so much fun against Zerg. Draw queen off of creep and cook 'er.
I had some A+ Zerg player try to counter my 10 or so hellions with countless numbers of zlings and banelings. Watching the cook off, it was magical. Brought a tear to my eye.
Finally spotted a 3M build and countered with High Temps, Stalkers and sentries.
Get 3/3 upgrades and add a few zealots and you'll rip any MMM build apart. Just played an FFA where the guy atacked me with a sizeable MMM ball (about 60+ marines, 10 or so marauders, and 4 medivacs) and I won with about 20 zealots and 5 or 6 stalkers, all 3/3. He had no upgrades, so his marines did 1 damage per hit to my zealots. Also, FFA is great for new players in my opinion, because you don't usually have to worry about being rushed (since they can't take out 3 guys early on and afterwards their economy is horrible), and the other players weaken eachother for you most of the time.
[editline]11:01PM[/editline] Haow 2 counter marauders/marines etc. with toss.
Pretty good info for the toss players. I'm still wondering if blizzard will ever patch their damn game. It's obvious that T is a bit op.
Pretty good info for the toss players. I'm still wondering if blizzard will ever patch their damn game. It's obvious that T is a bit op.
I'd say T and P at least are close to equal, just T is so much easier and requires far less micro to accomplish what they need to get done, hell, MMM is the best strategy and it is ridiculously easy to pull off.
I'd play Zerg more instead of Terran if they still had the Defiler. That would be ridiculous though, Terran would have nothing to counter that.
Ya defiler sounds pretty insane with dark swarm,
Zealots and stalkers synergize pretty well just by A-moving, my armies are usually very zealot heavy unless I'm going against roaches or something, because zealots do great damage, have great hp, and are dirt cheap. Throw in some sentries for forcefields and guardian shields so that your zealots can close the distance without being torn apart. In general, protoss players can stay 1 base for pretty long, definitely longer than a zerg player and somewhat longer than a terran player. It's usually pretty risky to do a fast expand as protoss because it is hard to keep the expansion, unlike zerg who have great defensive abilities on the creep and terrans with siege tanks, bunkers, etc. All we really have are cannons and warping in units. If you aren't getting pressured and you know you've got the edge army-wise, an expansion at 40-50 supply would be pretty good, unless you're going for some forge fast expand on lost temple, which is a rare case of being able to reasonably hold an expansion early on (could work on scrap station too).
How many gateways are good for this kind of strategy? Are warp gates a must? How would I efficiently use warp gates?
How many gateways are good for this kind of strategy?
Four, or three if you are going for robo tech.
Are warp gates a must?
Warp gates are always a must.
How would I efficiently use warp gates?
Build a pylon near your army and warp units in.
