Always fun to see someone rage in Starcraft 2! :buddy:

shit'd be better if they have zerg anti-armor before ultras
Aww fuck the latest patch breaks the "Play as guest" exploit, you have to log into battle net now before you are allowed to play offline
Guess I'm gonna have to buy the game in order to play it now, too bad I spent $400 on a hotel and need to spend $400 for school so I'm not looking to spend any more money for a good while :geno:
breaks the [...] exploit
Lol what
I wish zerg required less gas for some units.
I wish some or very few terran units cost less minerals. Some of our units are way too pricey.
:barf:
Just be glad Tech Reactors are campaign only.

Yeah thats like gas for zerg. Zerg needs ALOT of gas too make good units and I don't want to buy beans or nothin'.
Lol what
People who have (or had) 7 hour free trials of SC2 could play the single player campaign/skirmish indefinitely as long as they logged into the game as a guest and not with their Battle.net account once the trial expired.
That's what I've been doing for the past week and a half as I play a little bit per day, almost finished the campaign too.
Now you have to log into Battle.net with an authorized account before it will let you play as a guest.
well my point was that if it's an exploit they didn't really break it
in fact they fixed it
Just lost a 1v1 against a protoss, it's hard transitioning from terran to zerg, it's even harder doing it in the platinum league :sigh:
I managed to get up to 4 hives, couldn't get into his main he blocked it off, then about 6 colossus/30 stalkers sweeped across the map. By the end i had roughly 4k minerals and 90'odd gas...
I need to learn to manage my income better, as well as scouting as a zerg.
Delta quadrant is ridiculous for proxy pylons
Quoting idra is a useful talent toi have
I have a question about Zerg. It appears to me that they are the only race without cliff walkers. Terrans have reapers, which are very effective in most strategies. Protoss have Collosi, which are also very helpful in any situation though I find them best in defense. So what do the zerg have? I know they have the Nydus Tunnels, but those are so easily countered, it's not even funny. Not to mention the rate they unload is far to slow to effectively prevent someone from attacking it without having crawlers at each one. Infact I find they are simply best kept between bases.
nydus worm is best used as like a proxy gate, it's pretty worthless to put it inside someone's base
also it's good for expanding, as they work exactly like the old nydus network so you can have a worm at each expo and instantly bring your army in to defend, it's a really good utility

Not exactly. The new network will hold your forces. As well as you only need one base network and from there can spawn limitless exits.
Too bad all the pro's whine about how 100/100 is too expensive for instant transportation across the map.
Lol MSL semi-final A is happening at 5:30 in the morning thursday
shit
Guys I find that I've been losing a lot to air units, usually I get some decent units but only a few units that can attack air, and then I attack my enemy's base and he has like 8 void rays with 4 stargates all producing more, and I have almost nothing to do against them.
So if someone could explain which units in each race are good anti-airs I'll appreciate it.
Also I made it to the gold league somehow, lol, and I was wondering if it's possible to go down a league, like if you lose enough or something, because everyone rapes me here and I'm guessing that I'll have an easier time on the lower league.
What is one supposed to do in 2v2 against 2 terrans, one massing vikings and one siege tanks? It's literally impossible to go through.
Nydus worms are UU
One minute there's an overlord and then the next there's 5 ultralisks and a million hydras in your base

Anti-void rays for Terrans are Marines and Vikings
Anti-void rays for Zerg are Mutalisks and Hydralisks
Basically anything that is fairly cheap and has good AA

Learn to scout your base...Nydus is extremely easy to counter so long as you know where they are popping up. Hence why base popping is normally impossible. If you see an overlord, expect something to come after it.

You're not gonna know about an Overlord that's chilling all the way at the back end of your base out of range until it's too late. It's only easy to counter it when you know it's coming.
First 2v2 match since switching to Zerg.
These guys did an early cheese and obviously won, but I wasn't about to make it easy for them.

It's not even so much about scouting your base. It's more like finding Overlords sitting outside, watching your mini map for a tiny different color dot and having LoS on your whole base.
Here's a question for you guys: how does a Protoss player deal with cheesy rushes?
A friend and I just did a 2v2 match, PZ vs TZ, me being the Protoss.
It turns out they were both going cheesy, and I had just started making my first Zealot when they attacked with a quite massive force of Marines and Zerglings, there was literally nothing I could do to stop them from tearing up my base.
I mean, even if I would've scouted those proxybarracks on time I still wouldn't have been able to do anything about it, since I have to build a pylon BEFORE I can build a gateway, not to mention that Zealots are 100 minerals while Zerglings and Marines cost 50.
So... how do I deal with this sort of cheesy rushes as a Protoss player?
