Now why aren't you refuting my points I just made.
Also that is unreasonable as I have just started playing my placement matches and I am still no good so, sir, I say no.
[editline]05:17PM[/editline]
Actually now you're not making any sense.
You are playing your placement matches and you are arguing about this? Couldn't you have said that at the start, and spared me the effort? I give up.
Besides even if I lost I wouldn't stop posting because that'd be a pretty stupid resolution.
[editline]05:21PM[/editline]
Wow nice trolling buddy. Got me for a little bit there.
[editline]05:22PM[/editline]
Wait why would me playing my placements mean fuckall in this conversation? We're talking pure numbers so I don't see how my views don't apply.
Ten bucks they'll bring back lurkers in the Heart of the Swarm campaign.
Pay up, lurkers are already in. Just not in melee matches.
Maybe your economy skills are terrible but I never really thought "DAMN I WISH I PUT DOWN A MULE INSTEAD OF WATCHING THE ENEMY FOR 12 SECONDS" because the income bonus is too small.
Wow a whole 250 minerals! Sure that's a lot if you look at it one-dimensionally, but you also have to realize that it's spread over 90 seconds. that means that you only get 2.78 minerals/second, or 166.67 per minute.
You're completely crazy.
Maybe it's just the fact that zerg is a counter-heavy race but I'm not seeing the problem with my nonexistant need for MULEs compared to unstoppable recon.
To add some sense into this "Banelings rape MMM/suck", I would say that I have just played a match where I went MMM and my opponent went heavy on the Banelings. To put it simply, you're both right. Early in the game, Banelings are really effective and pretty much stop all my early pushes doing any damage. However, when I have a 150 supply bioball they're much less useful because they can only attack the units on the outside of the ball (minimizing AoE damage). Banelings are most effective in stopping early aggression so the Zerg player can tech and drone without fear of being destroyed.

(This was played in Platinum, so while it's obviously not the best, it showcases the basic idea)
Quit the bitchfights or I'm going to micro my banhammer all over this thread

Oh, and there's no way you could do, say, a 3-rax build (producing out of all of them constantly) without mules. You have almost no spare income even with mules.

I always have some banelings burrowed and grouped so I can readily pop them up in any bioball that rolls my way.
Well if I expect a rush that is.
Okay, just won my first match since I got moved into Plat. I need a ton of advice on this but I do know I was floating minerals for a while and that put me in a scary situation. What should I have been spending all my excess resources on?

God, I was so hoping this would come into play sooner or later.
Starcraft V2 is soon. Title will be secret.

First Aid for Zerglings Foundation.
Today, over 1 million zerglings died or have been brutally injured by Terrans, Protoss, or even Zerg. You can help them by making a donation of 100 minerals a day, just 100 minerals a day can save 2 zerglings. Save them, could you deny this little zergling first aid?

Oh uh looks like this thread is gonna close, don't forget about my replay!!
If my macro sucks why do I not need MULEs?
I'm saying you DO need MULEs or your macro will suck compared to every other terran that uses them.
It needs some ragged clothing and dirt on it's face.

I'd rather save two marines than two zerglings.
Before this version ends or even after, PM me posts you think are worthy to go into the next OP. It can be awesome replays or even strategies.
Whats a engineering bay? I hardly ever end up building it, to much waste when so little players get a cloaked unit.
Is that a serious question or did someone actually post that?

I'll pay you 10 million minerals to advertise First Aid for Zerglings. They truly need our help, that is why we need to waste 10 million minerals on this ad, so anybody you doesn't care may see it and just laugh.

i dunno i think its this thing that lets you build other things
Is that a serious question or did someone actually post that?
No its not a serious question, I know what its for, but I still hardly end up building it.
I hope the zerglings die.
Speedlings are scary as fuck.
its liek a comann senter
it lets u meke CVs

First Aid for Zerglings does not condone Speedlings, those fuckers are annoying.

Upgrades for units really pay off and make you win certain fights
Missile turrets will scare off air untis near your mineral lines.

3:12 Phoenixes shooting/flying backwards. Great strategy against mutas because you can stay out of their range and go pew pew
