As soon as the hydras came in I was screwed. Guess I need more bunkers...Gonna set up some flamers on the sides as well..and maybe some of the mind control towers to control the big guys.

Okay guys I'll be honest, Starcraft 1 and BW is my favourite game of all time but fuckit, SC2 comes in as second now. I just love these games too damn much. Anyone wanna play sometime with an average terran-player? I need help.

So I start the game...and about 1 minute in this guy sends all of his protoss probes trying to kill me and I have to use my SCVs to kill them off. I won and he just left the game.

Maybe he got disconnected? That tactic is what I usually use against new players seeing as they don't know about the importance of resources.

No really I just can't stop thinking about how amazing Starcraft 2 really is. I need some serious help.

I was too excited. And now I can't sleep because I'm trying to get used to the multiplayer...Getting better..but I just got destroyed by a bunch of zerg..I stopped his first zerg rush though..so I guess that's something.

I finished it. A few missions were tedious, once or twice they were painfully tedious. You get bored of doing the same shit over and over again after awhile and considering some of the missions you have 30-minute long objectives and you have three objectives in all it gets real old. There were a lot of good references, some good humor, some parts of the story made me wanting to find out what happened next and I started to get attached to some of the characters. Overall it was a pretty good game, I wouldn't call it incredible, I think I may enjoy multiplayer a bit more now after going through the entire single player in one play-through.

So, is this really free from monthly fees or how is it. I remember blizzard confirming it because they claimed that they were "financially crippled".

Umm, this has never had monthly fees except in Russia I believe.

It's completely free except for some custom maps in the future I think which will cost a small amount. Kind of sucks but whatever I guess we can just choose not to pay for those or something.

If they make NOTD: Aftermath (Good ol' WC3 map) for SC2, it better not have a payment involved.

I've been playing on a guest pass from a friend, And I'm definably gonna buy this game, Well I was before but either way, I love the fact it has co-op multiplayer, it's a relaxing change from getting my ass always kicked, I also LOVE the campaign so far.

Fuck yeah, downloading right now. Got a 7-hour guest pass. I do have a feeling I'm going to buy this later, though, since the amount of custom maps is fucking insane.

The impression I got was that the maps that basically felt like total conversions would be the ones that you would have to purchase.

Anyone think a decent Terran tactic is to focus on banshees and vikings? Vikings for Anti-Air of course but first focusing on turtling a bit and then start mass-producing banshees and vikings.

I used to spam banshees even when you needed the tech lab. If the other player doesn't have detectors then it's game over, and even if they do they're still pretty deadly. Vikings pretty much trump everything in the air and you can dump them on top of cliffs etc to ambush ground units too. I love them. Not sure about 1v1 though, but in team games air units are usually pretty great because the games generally last a lot longer. You can blob them like crazy too which is annoying but successful.

So I finished the game, [sp]and didn't the visions tell you not to kill the Queen of Blades? Sure she technically isn't dead, but she isn't the Queen of Blades anymore. Or did they just refer to Kerrigan, be it human or Zerg, and not specifically to her Zerg form.[/sp]

I just wish you could build Science Vessels online, they were miracle workers in the campaign.

Can't wait to play this against friends.. LAN style.
