Just a warning, once you enter that cheat it will turn off achievements. The only way to turn achievements back on is to either load up a save state before the cheat or starting a new game.
Sigh. Every strategy I try for every race just doesn't seem to work...I'm trying to play 1v1 terran (I've tried other races but I'm just as bad with them.)but I just can't seem to do it. My win-lose ratio is like 6-15 right now. It's bad. Any ideas at all?
anyone?
Yes, cuba, it's been stated many times before that you can.
Murdoco: Start with harassing, then build reapers
Murdoco: Start with harassing, then build reapers
So should I start by like building a barrack with a reactor sending in several marines to mess with them and then in the mean time start making up one with a tech then send in another wave of annoying marines then send in the reapers?
im a huge fan of warcraft 3, not for the singleplayer but the way you could play TD, Mauls, LOAPS and so more, is this available on SC2? if so ill buy it!
The editor is a thousand times more powerful than it was in wc3 but currently the maps are slightly boring, just simple stuff, as they all are from the beta.
I can't wait when it's like the 3rd month of release, i sure do hope they remake PARASITE and undead assault.
Also, i can't believe they didn't make a map with some sort of monster arena featuring the [sp]zerg special mosters, such as the leviathan(son of a fucker who took down one entire battlecruiser in a hit) brutalisks omegalisks etc.[/sp]
Ah and guys clear this to me, in the next game [sp] is Kerrigan going to be evil again? :c[/sp]
[sp]Probably like how you did in Warcraft 3. You had to level up arthas and other heroes didn't you?[/sp]
Not quite what I meant
[sp]Either that info is wrong or the story has to go back in time for Heart of the Swarm because Kerrigan is human again[/sp]
[sp]No. What most people believe will happen is you get to play as a good human/zerg hybrid (as she is after you save her) and you get to control the zerg and take the fight against the Zerg/Protoss Hybrids. In the process you should end up fighting Mengsk some more blah blah....and apparently she is like a hero unit in the game and can level up...[/sp]
[SP]But Kerrigan is still the Queen of Blades just good now as far as I know? I think they were gonna have missions with her before her "death" and after her "death"[/SP]
Not quite what I meant
[sp]Either that info is wrong or the story has to go back in time for Heart of the Swarm because Kerrigan is human again[/sp]
[sp]If you look at her in the end she is still part zerg. Without a leader who do the zerg follow? She is the only leader.[/sp]
Ah and guys clear this to me, in the next game [sp] is Kerrigan going to be evil again? :c[/sp]
I sure hope not. That would be retarded.
[sp]"I wub u Sarah."
"Hey Jim! I'm evil now!"
"Balls! We kill overmind!"
"I'm still evil!"
"Balls! We make you human again!"
"I'm still evil!"
"TRIPLE BALLS!"[/sp]

[sp]I hope they get rid of the zerg dreads. She was a hot redhead.[/sp]
What in god's holy name are you blathering about
hehehe i love that movie
Don't really need to put SP when talking about her hair. :v: But I agree, the dreads look awful on her.

[sp]I think they're going to have her control the Zerg as a human, even if she is human, it might not be a complete transformation, she probably still is a powerful teek/teep(SC2 terms for a psychic individual). Shes also the only human who can put on their resume, "Able to control millions of the Swarm to destroy mankind".[/sp]
[sp]I hope they get rid of the zerg dreads. She was a hot redhead.[/sp]
I doubt they will but I do agree..
hehehe i love that movie
I'm amazed someone picked up on that
just saw it the other day
ontopic: holy crap some of these achievements are ridiculous

Oh god I laughed so hard from that.
Donny Vermillion here with UNN news. We go live on Char with Kate Lockwell. Kate? Hey Donny, after [sp] a massive fight with the Zerg Jim Raynor managed to turn her human again. Wait...I'm getting reports that she is still evil. Back to you Donny. TRIPLE BALLS kate![/sp]
In seriousness. Can someone explain to me what marauders and reapers are for? I'm having a hard time deciding what they are for.

Wait a couple months and I'm sure it'll have all of that and more, it's clear that's all going to happen.
Plus the Starcraft 2 Editor from what I've heard is a hell of a lot better over the Warcraft 3 Editor
awesome, its properly still worth buying now, will have a few TD's to keep me occupied
lol got the bottom post of last page. Anyone?
Not unless you import from US or get a code from a friend or something like that :colbert:
Reapers are for harassing and erasing buildings quickly while marauders are fit for enemies such as stalkers, colossus, hydralisk and so on.

Marauders are anti-armor (good against roaches and stalkers, for instance) and reapers are gods of harassment. (Jump them up the cliffs into the enemy base and harass the mineral line.)

I hope people understand now why Blizzard is breaking it into 3 games. It's hard to tell a story well with a campaign 1/3 as long as this one and Blizz would be cheating themselves if they crammed all 3 full length campaigns into one game.

Hopefully, since Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void will presumably be on the same engine, use the same basic Terran units, most of the balancing has been fleshed out etc. etc., all that's really left is to create the campaigns and the expansions should be out reasonably quickly.
Murdoco: Start with harassing, then build reapers
Why would you harass and THEN get reapers. Harass is all reapers are really good for, and the earlier you get them out the better. If you're going to reaper harass you need to do it as quickly as you can and getting marines and harassing with them first is going to delay that.
Since there are going to be two more campaigns, they better only be expansion pack priced. Seeing as how there probably won't be new units and we already paid for multiplayer and are just paying for a new story..
Wasn't brood war an expansion?
Had one of my most even games now. Enemy was lucky enough to pull off a successful attack on my main with roaches and mutalisks. I was unlucky enough to have little marines and vikings, so i split my main in two, while escaping with my expansion. Enemy focused on searching my buildings while my banshees destroyed his base. Only thing left that could save him was one drone, but he was too busy controling his mutas. I got 3 marines, with 1 digit health and slain it. I won.
Training league is funny.

You think you could rock a couple of practice matches with me so I can get the feel of using Terran online?
Wasn't brood war an expansion?
Yes, and it was priced at $30. Which I find acceptable. I will have a hard time justifying $60 two more times for a couple new units and some singleplayer missions.
