That icon's a clock. It shows how long it takes you to build a unit or building, or to research.
Thanks man.
What does this icon represent? It shows up when you're training units and it's right under the minerals icon. Just got the game yesterday and loving the campaign already.
It means youre late x25 :v:
I have been trying some custom maps online, but they all are either in v0.001 pre-alpha or extremely simple. Though it's pretty impressive considering the game was released 72 hours ago.
It means that it takes 25 seconds to build/research.
Fuck yeah starting to win some games now. Just rolling with Hydralisks/Roachs/corruptors for now works well for me it seems.
The only problem with the campaign I have is the long ass loading times. That's probably just my computer though.
If anyone is feeling generous then I would very much like a guest pass.
The only problem with the campaign I have is the long ass loading times. That's probably just my computer though.
A few people have complained about that in this thread actually. Also, we need a zerg banner up in this motherfucker.
No one wants to play any melee practice games?
For fuck's sake Blizzard Downloader gets stuck on 66% and says Multiple problems saving data. Can anyone help?
Remind me never to use Blizzard's online store ever again. If i buy their digital copy I expect access to my game right away, not waiting around for ages. I could have just gotten it from the store by now.
I waited ten million years for this game and now it's stuck on 66%, fuck.

No Veers, I expected not to have my order queued for over a day. I can download the client, I can install the client, but they haven't given me my serial key.
No Veers, I expected not to have my order queued for over a day. I can download the client, I can install the client, but they haven't given me my serial key.
Oh, I apologize then, I thought you were complaining about having to wait on it to download.
Hah no, I don't mind waiting for a download but what's the point of buying online if I have to wait over a day to play the game you know? It kind of destroys the point. I also should have stated the issue clearly in the first post, no apologies needed!
First game using protoss - i made opponent gg by sending a huge army of hallucinations

Mine is Excuse me for Scribblin'.
So I tried out the editor, since it's the first time I use it I thought "I'll start by adding the Brutalisk to the Zerg". Turns out that it wasn't as smooth sailing as I thought. Adding buttons to the UI was easy, but then I had too search up the larva and add the ability to morph into the Brutalisk (and make the ability too, since it doesn't exist), but then it turns out that since I made a copy of the Larva in my map directory, the Hive was still spawning the wrong larva, so I had to search up the Hive and set it to use the correct behaviour (which I had to create) to spawn the correct larva (which for some reason bugged and shows up as a white ball in-game). Yeah it's not that super complex, but unless I'm mistaken in WC3 it was just about adding the unit to the list of units that building could train (sure this is way more powerful, and I'll be able to do much more once I get used to it, but all this to have a building train a unit is time-wasting even if you are a developer). Though maybe it's due to the fact that I chose the Zerg, and they train units differently. Also finding the objects to edit is a mess. I get 4 different libraries: Core.SC2Mod, Liberty.SC2Mod, Liberty.SC2Campaign and LibertyStory.SC2Campaign (plus my map). If I want to make a melee map with modified units (or anything) I either search up every single unit and copy them to my map (which takes ages to search up one by one), or leave them there and modify them there (that way they remain in the sea of other stuff I don't need, and again I have to search up shit all the time). If there just was a way to show only the units (and their abilities, buttons, behaviours and all that) used in melee, it would be a lot easier. I'm not sure that there isn't though, so does anyone know if there is?
Giving away 2 guest passes that came with my retail version PM me for one, I'll check back in an hour or two to give the first ones who pmed me the passes. Also the game is well worth my money its awesome.
why isnt this game in steam PD: im a sad panda.
why isnt this game in steam PD: im a sad panda.
Because Blizzard have their own digital download system that works better with Battle.net.
Can anyone please explain how the hell I am supposed to win against terrans when they can easily check what kind of units I have with orbital command, and then counter all of them. Even if I hide them all they can make a pretty good guess at what I am going for.
Rush them, it always works against me
why isnt this game in steam PD: im a sad panda.
just hit add a none steam game and find the .exe, than you have steam overlay while you play.
I'm too lazy to learn how to play zerg :saddowns:
I'm too lazy to learn how to play zerg :saddowns:
its worth it seriously, when i first started playing i always hit random and no joke it ALWAYS put me as zerg (save for one or two other times) so i learned how to play them really quickly.
its worth it seriously, when i first started playing i always hit random and no joke it ALWAYS put me as zerg (save for one or two other times) so i learned how to play them really quickly.
I'm gonna learn Zerg, they seem fun. Any tips?
I'm gonna learn Zerg, they seem fun. Any tips?
Yea you need macro like a BEAST zerg is the hardest race to use imo but it definitely pays off in the end if you know how to use it right. But then again I play protoss and I just kill zerg players.
