These novice maps are horrible, they don't actually let you do anything until endgame, no raiding unless you're terran with reapers, no early rushes for zerg and no scouting at the very start etc

It's a bitch to launch a offense unless you have warp prisms, medivacs or transporter overlords.

I'll get to fight people who have a lot more experience (on average at least). They should just add a few non-rock maps, that way you can vote away those with rocks and keep playing practice on normal maps. I mean half of the game is about harassing early and rushes, how the hell is this practice when it's completely different from normal matches?

I'm probably the only one who skipped practice games instantly because I'm not a scrub. I'll await your counterattacks.

I don't really know anyone from my area - UK - who has this game or will definitely buy it. Since the game is segregated (or whatever) by region I might make a US account for battle.net instead so I'll have people to play with. Basically, how laggy is it playing between the UK and the US - any more than you'd expect?

Damn, just got placed in Silver (3-2) whereas in the Beta I was in Gold (4-1). I hate when people 6-pool me.

Graaagh I'm stuck in a stalemate against a terran who is building up a fleet of battlecruisers and I mostly have zerglings and roaches, what should I do?

Hydralisks? Corruptors?

Back in the beta I played a free for all game against 2 zerg teams and 1 protoss team. I basically turtled the entire game while the zerglings (they only built zerglings.) killed off the protoss together...Then they both decided to go after me. Big mistake. I had so many bunkers and suppy depots they couldn't do anything. It was crazy having about 300 zerglings attack my front gates while my marines and marauders were protecting the front. I eventually built up 2 battlecruisers and destroyed their bases since they couldn't do anything about it...It was a very interesting and fun game even though I knew the zerg were only messing around.

So.... repeat question here, hows the game living up to it's hype?

I expected a slopped on singleplayer with its main selling point to be the multiplayer. The Singleplayer ended up being amazing and the Multiplayer is just as amazing. It's great.

It didn't so much beat it as tie it to a torture machine and make it it's bitch.
