Alright so I decided to pick this game up and I love it. Except I'm terribad. Anybody got any tips on playing zerg in MP?
Can there be a subforum for this. Honestly i'm more interested in the multiplayer component of the game while some people are talking about the singleplayer game.
Anyone want to help me justify spending $60 on a game?
Expansive lengthy singleplayer, reworked battlenet gives plenty of quick and even matches for online and plenty of strategic depth.
Fuckit I'm going to do the campaign on Brutal now. Wish me luck.
Anyone want to help me justify spending $60 on a game?
Awesome singleplayer. Multiplayer that will keep you playing forever. Custom maps and gamemodes that people are making (some guy made a Starcraft 2 version of Metal Slug *full version isn't out yet* with co op and cheats and everything. Some guy made DOTA. There are tons of things people can make with the Galaxy editor (some people who worked for blizzard made a Uberlisk (had a bunch of spinecrawlers on its back and could kill tons of zerglings or anything else back in 09.)
Anyone able to get me an avatar of Jim Raynor (the first mission where you control him, the animated portrait preferably.)
lulz
I fuckin' lulzed I have some Starcraft II gifs if you want 'em. Just tell me what.
I fuckin' lulzed I have some Starcraft II gifs if you want 'em. Just tell me what.
do you have the battleship commander or the zerg overlord, that would help as well
Also I've got some trial keys. PM me if interested.
do you have the battleship commander or the zerg overlord, that would help as well
Yep.
I fuckin' lulzed I have some Starcraft II gifs if you want 'em. Just tell me what.
Jim Raynor from SC2, first mission, his animated portrait if I have to make myself as clear as the sun.
but thanks anyway
Sorry nope.
Now it's time to invite all my friends over for a lan party! Oh wait...
Can someone give me some tips for the [sp]mission where you defend that colony from purification[/sp] please? I don't see how I'm meant to defend them when they're right across the map and I don't have enough units to get the shields down before the [sp]purifier starts attacking.[/sp]
Stop complaining about the lack of LAN. I'm sure most people have internet now these days AND have a microphone. Skype it up!

Also lan is just a lot more fun in general.

There's in-game text chat now, so yeah.
You may find this helpful. Part 1: Part 2:
THanks, that was pretty helpful. But I just don't like the idea of being backed up into my base while my opponent has complete map control.
I really want one of these:
Stop complaining about the lack of LAN. I'm sure most people have internet now these days AND have a microphone. Skype it up!
LAN has been a PC staple since the beginning. It may not matter to you, but it still matters to many of us.
Sure, LAN was great but I agree on the fact that you can still "LAN" just by plugging in cables in a friends router, gives the same feeling really, it's the nearly exact same thing.

What pisses me off, is the fact UK and US people cant play, that fucking pisses me off.
