None, because they're all still crap.
FALSE: Battlecraft and Marine Arena are awesome
FALSE: Battlecraft and Marine Arena are awesome
I like the TD custom games, they're not THAT good, but they arent that bad either.
Runling Run is so much fun.
I just got dominated the hardest of any game. I was terran, he was zerg. He started off by massing zerglings, banelings, and spine crawlers, so I figured I'd try to do banshees. Then he masses spores, so I ditch that but spot a spire. So I make a thor just in time for his first mutalisk harass, and they retreat when he sees thor. Then he continues to mass mutalisks and harass while I try to make thors, but he destroys armory. Soon enough, my base if overwhelmed by zerglings, banelings, roaches, and mutalisks. What the fuck, how does anyone counter any of this? You can't go in early because he walls up with spines and has zerglings and banelings in reserve, you can't use the thors offensively because he surrounds them with zerglings while the mutalisks proceed to pound them, and you can't do anything involing air units because mutalisks will rip that apart, along with his spores. Seriously, anyone know how to counter any of this?
Nukes
Giving advice would be easier with a replay. Probably you should do it JohnnyMo style and absorb knowledge by watching videos on youtube.
One thing i always do in a game that goes past first rush is take a bunch of units, put them in a medivac/overlord/warp prism and drop them right at the mineral line. Fuck up their economy. Rookies quit as soon as they lose their workers
I just have a reserve force of about 5-10 reapers so when they send their force at me I just send the reapers over and fuck over their base.

Yeah I can take out a few drones, but this player was quick for anything, his zerglings and banelings would have been there within 3 seconds. Am I missing something here?
If someone is walling in you win by out expanding and out ecoing them. If he's spending enough on spine crawlers and spores that you can't hit him at all then you've got more money to put towards your army than he does, which means you should be able to defend your expos and hit his before he can even finish building them if you're scouting them properly. Also if it's the lings in combination with mutas that were ripping your thors, you probably should have made a few helions and used those to kill the lings while the thors focus fired the mutas. If he was walled in hard and still hitting you hard it sounds like you just got outplayed to be honest

And you don't have to attack him early if he gets spine crawlers. The more spine crawlers he makes, the more drones he wastes so you're already damaging his economy. You also need other units to support your thors. But a replay would be good.
I just have a reserve force of about 5-10 reapers so when they send their force at me I just send the reapers over and fuck over their base.
This guy only had zerglings and banelings for defense, not offense, he'd immediately send his offensive mutalisks back and quickly take care of the reapers if I had any. He only sent in his entire army at the end because he knew it was over. [editline]08:29PM[/editline]
If someone is walling in you win by out expanding and out ecoing them. Should I have maybe massed marines from the start along with hellions and done an attack way earlier? He had groups of banelings burrowed around so I just don't know how that would have turned out.
If all he was roaming with was mutas and you still got owned then you just got outplayed. You saw the spire before his first muta hit and even got a thor up in time, you could have definitely kept pumping enough thors to counter if you were keeping ahead of him on eco (which it sounds like you should have been able to do easily)
Holy shit I watched a 1v1 game where the terran player built a second commander center asap, flew it over to one of the enemy's ramps, upgraded it to planetary fortress with the turret and streamrolled like I've never seen.
FALSE: Battlecraft and Marine Arena are awesome
Hey! Overrun! is pretty cool too.

Turtling almost never works against a skilled player because the non-turtle can effectively blockade the turtle, expand freely, and easily outmacro his opponent. That said, I remember an SC1 game that's sort an exception to that: Chalrenge vs. Rock. Both Protoss, Chalrenge was losing so he turtled SUPER hard and forced a draw after an hour of Rock trying to get into his base. Chalrenge had a bunch of dark archons and was mind controlling every unit that came near his base. :V It became a mind control/feedback war and lasted like 70 minutes or something ridiculous. Good times. [editline]08:41PM[/editline]
Hey! Overrun! is pretty cool too.
Has it gotten better, because when I played it in beta it blew
Or just go full out marine marauder and mow down the mutas and lings
I thought you said full out marauder and mow down the mutas and lings and I was like "ehhh you're gonna have a little problem with that"
I thought you said full out marauder and mow down the mutas and lings and I was like "ehhh you're gonna have a little problem with that"
Hehe, let him figure it out himself. I'd like to see his face when he rushes into the mutas with them.
Or just go full out marine marauder and mow down the mutas and lings
A zerg player that knows how to micro can rape bio. Speed upped banelings > bio ball.
I love to play as Zerg now, Banelings ftw :)
A zerg player that knows how to micro can rape bio. If so I reaaally hope all the classic units come back in the zerg and toss campaigns because I want to see classic SC unit custom maps.
Lurker defense all up in this bitch

It just takes one skilled mapper for a decent mp map, which I am not. You might want to search right here: http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/ Use filters, there are too many maps.
