Also, it isn't me that's the :downs: Protoss FYI.
I know.
But otherwise, what did ya think of my Zerg def skills? To bad I lost 14 zerglings, 2-3 roaches and a queen :frown:
Alright, but the loss of the queen was kind of a biggie
Bad proxy pylon is bad Hint: It's a replay.
pfft hahaha
Alright, but the loss of the queen was kind of a biggie
Not my fault she likes combat :frown:
Should have expanded way earlier Haha wow they were BAD. They had 4 orbital commands and they just let your DTs tear them apart for like 5 minutes.
Thanks for watching it , they were bad... I thought I'd be killed but no, they did their thaaang. I just played another game in placement with a friend. Both Protoss and we had a lagger zerg who massed speedlings. I DT'd this guys main base, I felt sad for him because when I killed all his probes, one more would spawn. I would kill that, then he'd spawn another! I eventually destroyed the main and he gg'ed. Howcome I don't lose placement matches but my friend does when we play in them as a team? We've won one lost one, and he's down to 3 matches left, but I'm still on 5!
2 US guess passes, who wants em? If i'm late to respond i headed out to work, but i'll get em to the first two
passes to what?
passes to what?
In a Starcraft 2 thread this should be pretty fucking obvious.
the editor is incredibly fun
Hey JohnnyMo1 did you ever get around to watching my replays?
http://www.filefront.com/17174985/awesdom.SC2Replay A terran replay of mine (My Second game) http://www.filefront.com/17174987/zergwin.SC2Replay Zerg replay (Third game) A big problem I have is spending money, I can never spend money fast enough because I always have too little gas, through the zerg game I realized I had so much minerals I could expand more so I did. Also the big fight in that zerg one, I goofed up big time. I frantically unburrowed them all at separate times, but luckily I had more upgrades than him I think, and numbers. In the Terran one, I think I did very well at figuring out the enemies strategy early on in the game and countering it throughout. Also my sweet 2nd nuke in there. All in all I think I'm doing pretty well as this is the first RTS I have ever liked/been good at.
Can anybody tell me what I did wrong? :frown: Except making air to early.
just ordered mine, checked it again and saw it was sold out. I have to wait for 3 to 5 days now.
It upsets me greatly when terran players move their command centers around the map after you kill everything, just to be assholes. Why even play if you're going to be such a bad sport?
that's what makes it fun
For some reason it's really bitchy about where I place my minerals(like 90% of the place) any way to fix this?
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/100275/out%20cheesed.SC2Replay Me and HTF out cheese two 8 pooling zergs with proxy gateways. They try and beat zealots with lings.. they eventually tech to mutas, and it comes down to a base race, which they probably would have won if they were any good. We didn't notice he expanded to my natural for such a long time :v:
I tried to make a thor that shoots marines that in turn shoots thors but the brood lord's attack is too complicated for me. I suck at this editing thing
For some reason it's really bitchy about where I place my minerals(like 90% of the place) any way to fix this?
You must place that on a buildable area (in the voice of the queen whatever zerg).
If your minerals ever get over 1000-500 and you aren't in their main winning, gg.
You must place that on a buildable area (in the voice of the queen whatever zerg).
I do, it's like random where it does it, this is the only areas where I can put them down for some reason in that base. [editline]10:29PM[/editline] I want to have it bended in the corner as the other base has, which is the exact same size.
Unless they aren't good at spending cash either. Also in that unit-sticking-together tutorial, I don't have Data - Radius or Stats Collide :/ [editline]01:37PM[/editline] Found them they are under different names for me.. it's Movement - Collide for me.
Unless they aren't good at spending cash either. Also in that unit-sticking-together tutorial, I don't have Data - Radius or Stats Collide :/
Yeah it's not up-to-date (you're better off looking at the second image for the trigger than following the text for example), but if you click on the model or actor you'll find "Collision Radius" or something like that. It's late now and I'm not on my main PC so I can't check, but look around (not only on the unit, but on it's actors and models too) for "Radius" or "Collision-something", it's there somewhere.
I do, it's like random where it does it, this is the only areas where I can put them down for some reason in that base. Green = Place Units etc, Red = Only props etc.
Unless they aren't good at spending cash either. It's a bit of a problem with these tutorials that they are mostly made for the beta editor, so there are small but important differences.
shift H doesn't do anything for me?
I played WC3 for simply the custom games alone. I'll probably buy this for the same reason when some good stuff gets made and the price drops.
In a game earlier on, my team-mate flew his vikings into my vortex :downs:, it was ok though, we laughed  Anyone know why my placement league counter doesn't go down when we play as a team? Yet my friends does...
shift H doesn't do anything for me?
View -> Layer -> Pathing then.
snip [editline]02:00PM[/editline] double snip [editline]02:03PM[/editline] t-t-t-t-triple snip!
Yeaaah, 2v2 rank 1 diamond.
Not to cut you down but there are more than 1 division. Diamond ranges all the way from above average to professional.
Not to cut you down but there are more than 1 division. Diamond ranges all the way from above average to professional.
Ya I am aware that there is more then 1 division in each of the leagues. But, it was still challenging to move up leagues, and i felt like it was an accomplishment after many wins and loses to get there.
reposting from earlier since more people seem to be on just now. http://www.sc2replayed.com/replays/51731-1v1-terran-steppes-of-war#rd:dna Im Auster in this game (obviously) if anyone would like to watch some of it (you dont need to watch all of it, its about 36 minutes long or so) and tell me where i went wrong/what i did right/general advice on playing Terran/and hatrt iv got to work on, also i know that i was :downs: not to expand at all iv just not got a feel for the right time to expand at all yet, its something that im working on.
