Starcraft II Megathread V.1 'Hell, It's About Time' - Games

Is it just me or is Zerg a lot harder to play than Protoss? I've been trying to switch and Zerg takes so much more APM to keep up. Not to mention that pretty much every strategy includes a fast expand which is hard to defend against a timing push where as I was perfectly fine sitting in my main with protoss.

Try some 1 v 1's or 2 v 2's also going on about it being a "waste" of the extra minerals would you rather loose the 100 + or so minerals the MULES give you or win the game? thats how i look at it.

3v3s weren't AS complicated as I thought but I'd rather not 4v4.

Winning feels so good, I understand practice league is pretty much filled with noobs, but this is the first RTS I've ever had success with. I haven't played Protoss in a multiplayer match yet, but against bots I usually do eh with them, with Zerg I have utterly annihilated my opponents so far (2 matches in practice, so it doesn't mean much, but I think my macro game was pretty good). Terran I don't really like as everyone plays them and they feel too straight forward.

You don't play Terran because everyone plays Terran, why are you playing SC2 since everyone plays SC2? The second reason is understandable.

Anyone know if the other campaigns will cost the same as the terran(+game) campaign?

I enjoy playing it.[/QUOTE] Nearly everyone and their dog plays terran in the practice league, in about 10 matches there there were only 1 zerg and 1 protoss The zerg unmercifully kicked my ass with a mutalisk rush

I play Terran because I played them in SC1 as my favourite faction and in SC2 because I just plain like them more. They also have the best music and most comedic characters unlike shitty stiff Zerg and Hitler-like protoss.

It doesn't matter what race you think is the most noobish. If you win with that race, good for you. You can't complain if you're zerg and get your ass kicked by a terran.

I think I actually find the zerg the most fun, I just love the feeling of microing all the hatcheries with the queens etc, while also controlling your army. It's just so much fun fighting a battle and then switching to your hatcheries with like 8 larva each and massing whatever you need in the fight and sending them to the battle. I'd have to say my favorite part of zerg is the infestors though.

If you have SCVs attack units, it's pretty funny sounding.

So I've gotten pretty good at this game. On launch I was placed in silver league and now I'm first in gold leauge. The last few people I beat were in diamond league.
