So guys, I'm kind of new to the rts genre and I want know some good beginner strategies or build orders. Any good place to start is fine.

Which should I use? Wolf Marine Portrait or Marauder portrait. (just won my 25th 1v1.)

Are you making drones/SCV's/probes?[/b] If yes, build more. If no, build some. [b]2. Near supply cap?[/b] If yes, build some overlords/supply depots/pylons If no, build -ditto- [b]3a. Do you need other units?[/b] If yes, goto b. If no, goto b. [b]3b. Do you have resources to do any other units?[/b] If yes, do some. If no, goto 1 until you can get a constant unit/resource flow. [b]4. Do you have to much resources even after step 3?[/b] If yes, upgrade. If no, goto 1. [b]5. Are resources starting to run low in main/expansion?[/b] If yes, do an expansion/do another expansion. If no, do an expansion if step 3/4 is done. [b]6. Supplycap?[/b] If yes, goto war. If no, goto war. [b]7. Do you have any defense?[/b] If yes, good, expand those. I would do the thor marine thing but I cannot get my head around the editor at all. I'm a player, not a modder unfortunately.

hey guys i'm making a pretty cool custom map where you go along with two really strong dudes and mess things up for the zerg, this thread is probably where i'll release it first (lucky you :downs:)

I think I'm done with 2v2 for now... got the worst teammate ever. He got destroyed early on by dark templars I told him to scan and finally he did, then he didn't even move his marines until the scan was over. He got like half of them before they ran out after taking half his base. After that he did pretty much nothing and then left. I was alone 2v1 and I built up two huge armies (Not quite as huge as I would have liked them though.. not enough gas) I think I did good though considering it was 2v1 for the entire game. Well its official. I suck as zerg, mediocre as terran, and own as protoss. I know this because I never seem to get the upper hand at the first rush.

People being friendly? In my last game, my opponent said "Fuck you" in the beginning right after I said "GL HF."

(I am the zerg)[/QUOTE] I also forgot to mention for those of you interested I hacked a mothership which was pretty sweet my adrenalin was pumping when I saw it and I threw an infestor tentacle at it ASAP.

Do you guys think fighting an omegalisk is a good way to end a custom map?

Man when Yahtzee reviews this, its just plain wrong to review without multiplayer. But Yahtzee bombs games in general.

Man I can only play like 4-5 1v1s a day. Gets so damn intense.
