If it is, that is totally stupid. They dont have Air to Air attacks, so if they get even just ONE mutalisk/void ray/whatever, they could totally FUCK YOUR SHIT UP.
Plus Banshees are fragile as fuck against AA. They NEED cloak or they're going to die very, very fast.
Is it just me, or is the Mothership rarely seen in MP games? Only time I saw it was during a 2vs2, and even though it was escorted, it didn't take long for my teammate to destroy the anti-air escorts and then my Mutas wrecked it.

I only use motherships for the teleport if I need to retreat or whatever, or need to move quickly by moving my mothership before. It's also decent to protect your base if you're playing against a zerg since you can kill their overseers quite easily at your base.
Haha! Just played a game against terran. The guy was in his base spamming marines, popped a few DTs ran around pissed him off, he built a missile turret, I lost a few DTs, popped more in there, ran around killing more stuff, he pops more marines and scans, lose a few more, pop EVEN more DTs and kill his marines in a straight out battle. He surrenders and calls me a cocksucker.
I see motherships as something to take hits with. If the enemy is stupid enough to not have a detector, most of your army can be cloaked, meaning they have to hit the mothership while your army picks them off! Also vortex is too cool not to use !

Just watched an epic replay, 3v3 and this guys 2 team-mates leave early on. The other people go "GG?" but he doesn't say anything and carries on. 20 minutes later, he's won!
PvZ seems to be very easy i finished him off easily with my zealots and stalkers.
Haha the cheat code for removing building/training costs is "moredotsmoredots" Hahahahaha
Haha the cheat code for removing building/training costs is "moredotsmoredots" Hahahahaha
Oh god that brings back memories
The more I play 1vs1 the more I realize how boring it is, at least 2vs2 (and up) you are playing with others so many of the usual tactics can just be blocked with help of the other player and once the tactics and build orders are out of the window, you can play a normal match of "You win by being more adaptable than your enemy". 1vs1 is just following your build order, and hope that the enemies build order can't counter yours (most of the time if you lose the first battle you won't have time to repair the damage in a 1vs1, and if you wait until you have scouted the enemy then way too much time has been lost), rinse and repeat for every match. Though as I said 2vs2 and up are great fun.

I prefer playing 2v2 with a friend.
I prefer playing 2v2 with a friend.
As do I, the times I've played with a friend, I've won!
Shoulda went Raven/Marauder. Then again, I made the same mistake in one of my earlier games, haha
Hard to build a starport when you don't go any SCVs, and if he tried to build anything I would chase after it.
Hard to build a starport when you don't go any SCVs, and if he tried to build anything I would chase after it.
By the time you had DTs he didn't have a Starport up yet? Feels good man

Buying SCII as soon as I have my new computer built. I can't freaking wait.
Won my first actual multiplayer game today! Granted it was on practice league (?), but still it felt real great, and really allowed me to get over my mp fear. I was protoss and he was Terran. To be honest I bruteforced my way to victory, I didn't really micro anything, just set up two expansions, get a nice flow of gas/minerals going and spam stalkers, void rays and carriers, along with two immortals to get past defences. He was turtling anyway, I had to break the rocks to his base, but had a nice defence system going on, bunkers/missiles and marauders really made it tough. Next on my list: Learn to micro more effectively and work on my build order. Also, when I destroyed his army and a large portion of his base, he said gg, but did not quit the game, as if waiting for me to exit the game before he does to win by default. I had to destroy the whole base to end the game, so do you think this is an honest mistake or some sleazy tactic?

You also could have lifted the CC to prevent the zerglings from eating it. At the end you had a CC floating above your base with a bunch of scvs jsut sitting there, if he won the battle you would've been completely killed because you couldn't have out macro'ed him even if you got your expo up. So yeah, next time just get your expo up defend that, keep up aggression. 2 base terran> 2 base zerg.
I'm still waiting to get enough money to buy it. When I do, hit me up on Facebook and we'll play some time.
Derek that better be you or else shit's seriously hit the fan

I have no idea if they are trying to get me to leave, if they just want to waste my time or if they don't know that it's perfectly fine to leave even if the match isn't completely over yet. Maybe they say GG but then see a small glimmer of hope, so they try that and don't leave or they hope that by saying GG you will let your guard down/pull back your troops/something and they'll be able to sneak back into the game.
