Husky's opening for all of his videos gets quite annoying.
The more I read from you guys, the more I start to hate the 1vs1 multiplayer. Fuck build orders, I don't want to be constrained by whatever is right or wrong, I want to play my way.
You aren't constrained by what's right and wrong, I don't follow any of these specifically, but they make for great general guidelines if you are lost in what to do at the beginning. Obviously you can do what you want and experiment but these are definitely good to work off of.

H TO THE USKY HUSKY
I rely on 4 Gate rush :v:
I rely on 4 Gate rush :v:
You shouldn't rely on rush tactics.
Because if you fail a rush, you are pretty much fucked.
S TO THE TRIPEZ STRIPEZ
I'm even managing to annoy myself.

If he builds a few photon cannons hes fine. A well executed rush will win a lot of games.
To be honest, when I first found Husky I thought he was the most annoying commentator in the world and his intros made me cringe.
I'm completely past that now and his casts are awesome. :v:
Although he seems to have a rather low attention span.
Because it puts you on the offensive, whoever is pressing the attack, if they are doing a good job, has a major advantage as they can expand freely.
Just did another 4gate rush and won. Wasn't very hard though as the Protoss only had 2 immortals and the terran had a couple of siege tanks, I honestly don't now what they were doing!
If the rush failed but I still damaged their eco, I expand, tech up and push out again. If it failed all together I prepare for a counter.

I usually rush a forge, drop some photon cannons in a V formation by my entrance, put ~2 zealots to block it and then get a proxy pylon up by their base, drop some stalkers outside their base, ~12 is good and attack, during this I usually tech for DT and make some of those before they can get observers, DTs can end a game if you get them before they have detectors.

The best protoss army I ever had was ~5-6 colossi and like 15 void rays. It was with 3 of my friends in a 4v4 against some hard bots, I my photon cannons and the early colossi I rushed helped me defend while I built up the void rays, and then I steamrolled from base to base. It's a highly mobile army that can do massive amounts of damage. Picture reapers with giant laser beams.

I just learned about Graviton Beam.... I thought it just disabled their abilities (like psionic storm, infested terrans, etc.) but they could still move/attack etc. but it actually lifts them up completely and leaves them vulnerable to be raped by void rays.
Had a good match against a protoss player as zerg in 1v1. Spawn pool at 11, extractor at 12, zergling up to 20 or so, all whilst building drones, then hydras at 21 or 22. He had gone void rays and left his base empty as I had gone to attack him some where around the 9 minute mark with a large army of hydras and speedlings, he destroyed my main base, but I had expanded halfway across the map to avoid being his food later on. I wrecked his based and expansion and he only got my main base down. was a good match, but I know I need to improve on a lot of things. I just lose track in the match, my brain can't keep up at that fast of a pace.

And other Phoenix's! You can do great economy damage with around 3 of them.
I can see the possibilities already, hey look a queen, bzzz. pew pew pew.

Oh and for those of you who don't know, you should really NEVER use Colossi without the Extended Thermal Lances upgrade.

This. I don't use Colossi much anyway as I like to rush, but when I do, I always use Extended Thermal Lance. If not, those pesky missile turrets will be the end of you!
About VRs, how should they be nerfed? Weren't they already nerfed in beta?

They should just be a slightly harder unit to get, as it is, you can rush voids in no time at all, and have quite a number of them ready to go, if you added just a few seconds to the minimum time required to get them, I think it would be a little more fair than actually weakening the unit.

Wouldn't that lead to more Stargates being built then?
How do I move out of bronze 1v1 and get into silver? I'm rank 4 and soon to be rank 1.

Just out of curiosity what are your divisions names?
My bronze 1v1 is Defiler Gravity.

I don't mean in build time, i meant more in requiring a pre-requisite it currently doesn't require.

Hey, I added you. Want to 2v2 sometime? I'm in bronze :v:

Oh, but then we could only get Phoenix's from one Stargate and that would suck. So are you saying it would need like an addon or something?
[editline]11:03AM[/editline]
Just won a 2v1, I was the 1 :v:
First match in Bronze league.

Give me some tips. I'm actually wondering if my build order at the start is any good, I love the orbital command but am I getting it too early?
I probably could have finished the game earlier too but I was debating as to whether I should just spam vikings and turrets around the map and leave it running or just finish the game.

Cool story bro. Post something that's actually meaningful next time.
I keep getting steamtrolled by people that rush to make a medivac, a nuke and a ghost, and bomb the fuck out of me, I don't know how they do it. Also, Mutalisk cost should be reduced to 75 crystal 50 gas.

I'm all for that, though I might not be completely objective in that.
I wonder what will be the balance changes in the next patches. I hear a lot of people saying that Terrans are OP, and a lot are saying that some Protoss units are OP, but I never hear anyone call anything that has to do with Zerg "OP". If anyone needs a buff it's probably the Zerg.
Zerg are UP, Terrans can bio rush you before you even get like 2 Zerglings, since you need 200 crystal to make a Spawning Pool, they only need 150.
But another hatchery doesn't mean spawning zerglings..
By that I mean that the hatchery doesn't really enable the build zergling option.
Fuck, meant Spawning Pool.
Did you honestly say that Terran can bio rush before you even make 2 zerglings? I'm sorry but what build order are you using? That's just sad.
Terran are definitely not a good game opener. After about mid game with all the upgrades is when they get interesting.
My friend and I had three matches and we lost all three in a row because of VRs. Everytime we tried to counter them, we died. Like I said 2 vikings to 1 VR. Bullshit.
