Starcraft II Megathread V.1 'Hell, It's About Time' - Games

[sp]The cutscene where they jump off the planet in the hyperion is so fucking badass.[/sp] The game is great. I've only played one round of multiplayer so far because I'm still going through the singleplayer. The singleplayer is awesome. I haven't used cheats because a) I don't know where to find them and b) I don't need them. I've gotten pretty good.

Is anyone else having problems with the multiplayer right now? Every time I go to the multiplayer tab there's either nothing on it or I can't join anyone. It's getting really annoying.

Playing a bunch of custom games right now (primarily nexus wars) add oops (character code or whatever is 444 if I remember right) and play with me :)

yay Starcraft 2 is almost done downloading and I installed SC1. Bad thing is that SC1 will not start.

And I fixed it!!! Make sure to run SC1 in compatibility mode (i used XP[SP3])

It's in the single player section but you can't literally "walk around". It's still really cool though. The part that really appeases is that the game's cut scenes are all rendered in the game engine and it looks fucking phenomenal. Does the regular boxed game come with a cool instruction manual or anything? If not maybe I'll try to just buy the digital version. Also, my 7 hour trial is almost over. This is has the best single player of any rts I've played. Each mission is different and challenging. Upgrading, choosing missions, researching stuff is fun. The different briefing rooms are nice. Every other rts campaign I get bored with cause it's the same boring missions over and over, but Starcraft 2 is pretty unique with the single player.

Getting the game tommorow (or today, it's 05:00 here). :) Primarly for the custom maps though.

Practice league was a joke, I don't know why I even played those 3 games since I was in the beta.

The storyline so far is just awesome. Also there needs to be a "Defense Against The Undead" game mode, [sp]I just did that mission from Hanson where you go into that zerg virus infested refugee place[/sp] a "Last Stand mode using those things would be :awesomelon:

Why is this game $60 instead of $50? Also I picked up (like physically lifted up) a collectors edition at a Best Buy today, it's surprisingly heavy.
