:argh: ill play a game on your map in a few hours or so if your game?
Why in a few hours? :frown: [editline]05:47PM[/editline] Also, anyone else that wants to test my map? :buddy:
My god the starcraft forums are full of idiots, either that or I'm the only protoss player that can beat terrans
A lot of Protoss players are bad. I mean a lot.
Why in a few hours? :frown: [editline]05:47PM[/editline] Also, anyone else that wants to test my map? :buddy:
Well, closer to an hour or so got dinner to have and some stuff to do shouldn't take any longer than that actaully.
Why in a few hours? :frown: [editline]05:47PM[/editline] Also, anyone else that wants to test my map? :buddy:
Sure. I can't play it online. I can see if anything's wrong with it though.
No, VSYNC is a proven way for you to lower your FPS, i've noticed it in every game i've ever played and have ever used it on. Try harder. Video was to show how easy it is to start an infinite match. Find the best pic of starcraft 2 you can find, it still looks like a cartoon from the 90's. First of all, why do you bring up Warcraft 1? If anything you should go back all the way to Dune, the first RTS game. What companies do - ah, a classic excuse "their a company, they want money", if i wanted to play a game with the same formula and same races and same features as Starcraft, I'D PLAY STARCRAFT. EA took a chance at being an original developer and you know what came out of it? Dead Space, and i respect them for that. Blizzard? All they have been doing is milking their franchises over and over, and it's now an obvious FACT now, after they came out and said you need to pay seperately for each races campaign.
dead space original excuse me while i bust my sides laughing
This has probably already been mentioned, but Mirra's Profile when you first talk to her has a slight reference to star wars she has the death sentence is "12 systems" the guy at the cantina that tried to kill Luke had the same thing
Anyone wanna give me an guest pass and how do I activate it :v: I'm just trying to see if the game works.
Gave up zerg, moving on to terran. Any tips?
Gave up zerg, moving on to terran. Any tips?
MMM, Marine Marauder Medivac.
Yeah, marauders utterly rape zerg with the upgrade.
I got moved down to Gold league due to a bad day, it's brilliant, I've won 5 games in a row.
but you wont get a shiny box :smith:
Actually I am. Found out it was cheaper if I ordered trough a shop's website. Will arrive tomorrow.
My god the starcraft forums are full of idiots, either that or I'm the only protoss player that can beat terrans
I actually prefer to fight Terrans when Protoss than any other race, I normally just steam roller them with a mix of Zealots and Stalkers while keeping them busy with a couple of Void Rays.
Does anyone know what the default speed for ranked matches are? I played (and won) two practice league so far but they were slow as hell, I've been playing Fast
I've been wondering that too. I assume that the practice league plays on a lower speed than the normal leagues, but I'm not 100% sure because i only played like two practice matches and skipped.
argh, with my PC it takes a while to load just the map names/pictures, i just get left with a spiny thing, god damn annoying when all i want to do is create a game vs AI, would be nice to know why it has to do this every single time i open that menu also, god damn void rays
I've started to master the MMM. it's a great technique and it's a good practice at micro. add a couple of siege tank on the lots and you got yourself a win!
I've been wondering that too. Could op add me to the player list? Username: TippZ Char. Code: 127
Could op add me to the player list? Username: TippZ Char. Code: 127
PM the OP with your details, he doesn't add them unless he sees them, and they will probaly just be buried under all the extra posts.
PM the OP with your details, he doesn't add them unless he sees them, and they will probaly just be buried under all the extra posts.
ah, okay, thanks
First match in Bronze league. http://www.sc2replayed.com/replays/53004-1v1-terran-xelnaga-caverns Give me some tips. I'm actually wondering if my build order at the start is any good, I love the orbital command but am I getting it too early? I probably could have finished the game earlier too but I was debating as to whether I should just spam vikings and turrets around the map and leave it running or just finish the game.
Which one are you. [editline]10:50AM[/editline] Nevermind, assuming you are the one who rushed the command center.
Can someone pm me a guest pass?
Firestarter 768 EU Incase anyone wants to play (I'm not playing right now but will be later).
Void rays are NOT OP. If you scout properly you have plenty of time to react.
Getting this game tommorow, can't wait, also, can I be added to the list?
...I now officially love marine hotdrops, utterly raped half a guys base :buddy: And also reaper marauder combos :3 two pronged attacks ftw.

I probably could have finished the game earlier too but I was debating as to whether I should just spam vikings and turrets around the map and leave it running or just finish the game.
Okay, lets start from the beginning, your build order was decent but you should probably have gotten gas a little earlier. Around 7 minutes you had plenty of excess money, you should have gotten stimpack or combat shield upgrade, also siege tanks are pretty lame without siege tech, so you should get that if you are going to use a siege tank. There were also times when you had a barracks doing nothing, but you had plenty of money, that is bad. You also stopped SCV production fairly early, not a good idea as you only had ~16 SCVs and a base needs 30 to run at peak efficiency. Stop sending in your units one at a time! If you had gathered a few with that siege tank he wouldn't have died to SCVs, this also goes back to the fact that one of your barracks was doing nothing. You could have ended his first base with less loss and a lot faster if you had payed attention to this. Now we come to the end of the game, where he should have just surrendered. Your ground army was sitting around doing nothing, yet you knew he had SCVs around. What if he had built a huge army? (Okay okay I'm kidding about that one) but you really should have sent them around to scout at the very least and use your vikings to hunt down his command center. All in all you did well but there are a few things you could have done better (as it always is).
snip
a funny strat that I saw a guy use and then used myself was dropping four tanks in a guys base and throwing 3 in siege and the other in tank so he can take out close range.
