Try taking the file, putting it in the smod folder then extracting it there and it should put the files in the specified folders automatically. Try that. Otherwise, I don't know.

I've been playing campaign with this, I'm at the see-saw cinder block bit. Oh, and a VERY fucking wonderful little thing: Type exec neo to enable bullet time, as usual, then type this:
Exec bt_timestop
This turns normal bullet time into actual time stopping! Kill a guy, he stays in the same position (depending on how much force he is hit with, his body might move), take his gun, shoot his 3 mates behind him with it, drop it, have a smoke and start time again. A few seconds later, all the bodies and props hit the floor.
The only occasion I have to use Timestop is with the AWP. So much as shift the mouse in any direction and it jumps centimetres, often way over the target. There's definitely sensitivity issues with it.
This is the hardest game ever and has the longest loading times, but it's really fun, i can't get past the train station :'(

No, it's not the way you remove it. I had it, what you have to do is go in your folder and there's a script in the script folder that you have to comment out the lines of games you don't own.

I should have realized that "limited release" means nothing on the internet.
Ok, this version is SUPER UNPOLISHED. There are some broken ass 3rd person models, some sounds on... I think the revolver and one other weapons are just BROKEN, and lots of "I'm just testing" features.
Worse of all I didn't put any of the new "credits" for community CSS models I used directly or had hacked (added scopes, ect).
I really intended this for SMOD Fans to get some feed back so I could have a decent release of the final mod.

I played WoW for like 3 months and to be honest, it wasn't that enjoyable. Also like many of my supporters said, this is my leisure, I don't do this every day. and I do put a lot of work in this. Especially since when I started I didn't know jack shit about how HL2 actually worked, and knew nothing about mapping since 1999! So, I'm sorry I didn't put the time you wanted in this. I mean Like to do other things too.
HOWEVER
Nothing should excuse the long length of time between releases. I'm deeply sorry for that. Between new "test / non-release" versions of SMOD, several hiatus on my part, and my constant feature creep, I totally botched it. Several times I was so anxious to get something new in the mod, I cheated my fans out of having fun. Sorry.
Now that we have this drama shit out of the way.
I want you guys to know I'm reading your posts, and given the amount of bugs here and there... I'm probably going to release some fixes. Especially for the RT scope thing. Really I should just say "suck it up and buy a goddamn DX9 card" but it's just easier to make a fix than have to listen to people complain because they bought their PC in 2001, and think that their Intel graphics card is "totally bad ass". ;)
As for the load time thing.
I can't do anything about that.
"The Author" of SMOD (the mod that Tactical is based on) added the new DoF and Vector blur, and that made a BIG hit on load times. It doesn't look like he is going to do anything about it anytime soon... oh well. At best I'm going to add some more options to the "special effects" section of the configuration map so you can run without DoF and Vector blur, but still keep all the other effects.
Also I don't really visit here that often. I visited today because I was reading "garry's blog" and I thought "oh shit, what if someone posted the release info about Delta 5, and included that bum fucking link." Don't download the full version from ModDB, the full version was corrupt. And to make matters worse.. I didn't do it once... I did it twice.
And finally the vector blur thing.
Ok, vector blur works by taking the previous frame from the buffer and the current and blurs the difference. The bigger the gap between the two(like if your lagging) the more intense the blur is. So, if it looks like gordon is tripping balls while you play, that's because your lagging too much! "the Author" of SMOD himself said that he loses 30% of his framerate when activating vectorblur.
So, I hope you guys are having fun with the mod(those who can get it to work), and sorry about the lack of polish. I just really need some feed back before the next release.

I personally love this new version and can't wait till the final release. It is a shame about the original creator of SMOD adding those effects and bumping the load times, I mean actually the effects look absolutely ridiculous.

And I bound ironsight to my mousewheel button.
I still don't get why this shouldn't be an independent mod instead of a mod of smod. Wouldn't it make things easier without having the creator make unpredictable updates?
If this isn't a solution, could this work on a beta that doesn't have the effects?

Also what is that map with the zombies in the city that people are playing?
That's motel. The commands needed are: Weapon_limetcategory 0 and weapon_maxweapons (amount of weapons you want to carry). Do the smod config level, then get to map selection. Look for motel.
Smod should get some swat 4 style maps where you only get like a pistol on some missions or an mp5 etc and you go in and kill the dudes, or maybe add a little mod to it to be able to arrest them
swat 4 for hl2 would rock so much.
Well you can shoot out their legs and pretend they are still alive, if you are into that kind of thing...
Or just type exec_draw in a map.

I find it really frustrating, it crashes a shitload and the ai is just too good some times and won't give you a chance, plus in cabaret, you can't sprint and you have to go into the line of fire to get a weapon or wait for someone to die, and weapon_custom6 crashes the game for me. But its fun on CS desert I just wish I had a sniper rifle.

Also, progress on timestop: Type exec bt_timestop followed by bullettimesim_phys_timescale 0. NOTHING moves. Also, change the speed and effect of bullets (mine have that little swirly corkscrew effect) with bullettimesim_playerbulletspeed and bullettimesim_bulletspeed.

Reconstruct, could you upload the mapadd files for dotd_crookcity for me? I tried it with the ones that came with it, but it didn't spawn a single zombie or weapon.
