r_increaseparticles can go up to 4/5 I believe.
And r_smod_bloom_fakeexposure adds an "stare at something bright and you start to adjust" effect.
I just copy pasta'd those from the performance CFGs so don't expext any great accuracy.
I did the r_screeneffects_dx9 thing and it didn't do anything :/. I will try adding that crap to my cfg. I'll let you know how it goes.

SMOD tactical fails for me because there's this ugly black bloom that looks like SHEF around my first person weapons.
Are there pre-made maps for SMOD with the mapadd files anywhere I could download? I don't want to have to do all this mapadd stuff myself.
Try kh0rn3's Mapadd generator. However, if the map does not have nodes you will have to node it yourself with the nodemaker gun.
The generator does come with loads, and I mean LOADS of mapadds for most popular deathmatch and CSS maps.

You don't have to manually node un-noded maps. You could basically nav_generate most maps. After that you can type in nav_converttoainode. Then, type in ai_snl_save. The snl goes to the mapadd folder, and you can use that for the Mapadd generator.
This game lied to me. In the weapons reference text file it says that weapon_custom8 is a G36. I put in "give weapon_custom8" and I got a damn M4 w/ M203. I don't know about you guys but I would rather have a plain old G36 than an M4, even with M203.
(But a G36 with an AG36 would be epic beyond all reason)

If you say, download a big sandbox or rp map off garrysmod.org you would have to go about manually noding it.

Are you sure? The roads are all missing textures, only some buildings have dev textures, the rest is all missing.
Have they already implemented those nice looking insurgency-like scopes, like the one in the AWP, in all the scoped weapons? And if not, is there any other smod mod which has them?

This mod kind of annoys me. I can't seem to pick up half the weapons (Even when slot is empty) and bullet time doesn't work.
I wish it had multiplayer.

You can use them you just need to have an open slot for that type of weapon.
If it's really buggin' you you could jusy type weapon_limitcategory 0 in the console.

Even with that and open slots it still won't let me use some of them.
