I'm not sure how but I would try the console. Type in something like "find blur" or "find motion". Then if any commands about the motion blur show up then disable them.

I tried the configure map, but after I set everything and chose the SMOD: Half-Life 2 option, it went to a black screen. Is this meant to happen? By the way, I waited five minutes and nothing happened.

SMOD Tactical has always been really buggy for me. For instance, when I switch to iron sights the screen goes white..

They work but don't work properly. It only keeps the gun's firing area near the center. It doesn't bring up the sights.

Damn, my iron sights used to be alright but now they are stuck in the middle of the screen and my wrists look all blocky.

Guys just get the full download. The upgrade is for lazy people. My friend said that some of the things he had didn't work, because he did the upgrade only. Just download the full install and stop being lazy.

Anyway, I find this game to be awesome. I just don't really like to fact of me not being capable of playing the normal HL2 in it. Oh well, I'm easy.
I dislike phatcat and his modding methods and I over all think this mod is shit, last time I tried it (number 4) the guns were bugged, broken, had bad/generic/shitty sounds and overall I don't want a mod from a guy who quits for 3 weeks just to play WOW Burning Crusade. Cause a new game/exp pack is a real excuse to quit working on a mod, while I for example work on my mods non-stop with about 1-2 hours break and usually finish in a few days.
The next release should be called:
"SMOD Tactical Version 6 Now Even Harder and Buggier"

He isn't your slave. He's a normal human who does this for a hobby. He could care less if you can finish a mod in a week. Also, can I see these mods you finish so quickly?
