Have anyone anyone found some decent zombie maps for this yet? i can't really steer clear of the Smod: T forum, too unorganised. If you do however, have a link please PM me.
Hm, for some reason npc_zombie2 isn't being found. What could be wrong?

This mod is intense. I tried the mine map, and i was forced to camp in the little room you spawn in because outside about 25 enemies waited for me, and fired like crazy as soon as they saw a tiny part of me. They kept throwing grenades so the stuff flew around and i had to find new cover. My screen was almost constantly red and bullets were flying everywhere. Took me about 20 minutes before i could force myself out with slowmotion and a few well placed grenades. But damn it's hard to fight with a completely red screen and a view swaying all over the place.
To shorten the loading times use medium detail. It gets rid of the vector blurring which takes up most of the load time. There won't be any motion blur and your weapon won't be blurred. But if you aren't patient then you can benefit from this.
Is it just me, or are the enemies in this game extremely hard? *considering I set them to easy/army training, and they can take me down in under a second if I poke my head around a corner... EDIT: Also, electrocuter, I am stuck right when you first drop down after getting the knife... and I run to the train for cover, just to find that when I am forced to drop down onto the moving train alley, I get killed so fast, it's insane. *that and I try to take the time to kill the first guy to get his gun, just to end up dead by the time he drops it*

Blegh, npc_zombie2 [i]and[/i] bullettime are not working. Shit sucks.
I know I am going to get random unfriendly ratings for this but what is Smod? Seriously, some screen shots I see of it look like it's a swat team thing, some look like a counter strike mod, some are in 3rd person, some are half life 2 with different models and I even saw one of the player feeding a banana to an antlion.

They're both different. SMod: tactical is a realistic Counter Strike version of Smod. And kind of Red Orchestra, too. Smod vanilla is HL2 but with new enemies, weapons, and totally awesome and unrealistic pools of blood and gore. And body explosions. Totally awesome. :dance:

Just to inform the assholes; This version was released as a bug test. Wait for the final release that's coming shortly, before you preach about how much Phatcat and/or this mod sucks. This is why Phatcat didn't want the news of Delta 5 to spread.

But this has made me want to play it through all over again. It is balls to the wall, intense fun. If you're one of the unlucky ones having problems (I haven't had a single one) then I really reccomend you wait for the full release of Version 1. In the meantime, I'm gonna play some more :D (Oh, and one more thing, Poison Headcrabs are your worst enemy in this game because of the screen effects. If you see one, BUCKLE UP)

I've gotten to the train station outside of Ravenholm and so far Tactical rocks! It's not that hard, I've only had a few areas where I died several times until I found a smart strategy (this is Medium). There are a few things bugging me that I want help on: 1. Why is it that the only assault rifle you can carry with along with the shotgun is the M4? I like the UMP better, and I still want a shotgun always! If this has to do with the limitcategory script, how do I specifically change this problem? 2. So far, there hasn't been a whole lot of weapon diversity. I haven't seen the Colt Python, the Deagle, or the FAMAS anywhere, and the AK47 only appears with citizens. Are they gonna appear later?

Then you enter weapon_maxweapons # # = Amount of Weapons you want to be able to carry at once.

I don't see what is so great about smod tactical I think it is utter shit compared to smod 3.5 or 3.9. Seriously it just adds more buggs longer loads and crappy controls.
I've downloaded the patch version, and as expected it's buggy. Is the full install more stable? And if so, will the stability justify the extra bandwidth wasted? I'm pretty sure I'm approaching this month's download limit.

What's the script where I can edit the number of weapons that can be held in each category?
The new effects are brutal on my fps. That zombie map is awesome! I hope they make more like that, I love spawning one AI friend with an SMG on elite and seeing how long I can last. Super fun watching the bodies skid along the ground when they are sprinting and shot, it looks awesome. I love the way the zombies flail their arms, twist around, and tumble after dieing when they are running.
