Same here. Im just glad they didn't suffer the same fate that Sonic managed to suffer. I've been playing all the PS1 titles of both games so far. (Crash Bandicoot and Spyro)

CTR was the shit. That was back in the day when the internet had cheat sites that were full of bullshit. I remember playing that game for hours and hours trying to unlock Spyro because some website said that you can by beating the game in 4 hours or some shit.
Man those Titan creatures are beginning to overthrow Crash.
It's like Rayman and the rabbids all over again.

Crash Bandicoot 2 was one of the first games I played on the PS1, after a few years I came back to beat it 100% (some of those gems are hard as shit, like going backwards on Cold Hard Crash and that futuristic 2D level), and also went back to the third one to get all the platinum relics as well. I can't decide which of those (and CTR) I had the best experience with however, all of them are just too good to compare.
Crash Bash was decent, but I had a lot more fun playing the other ones on the PS1.
Also for those that don't know, Devo did the music for the original Crash Bandicoot games, which explains why the music is so awesome.

The Gex games never really achieved as much success as Spyro or Crash and were considered mediocre.
However, I still have Gex 3, had a lot of fun with it back in the day. Might try it again some time, I always remember that level with the poop mountain...
From what I remember, Gex 2 (Enter the Gecko) was the best.

I remember in 1st grade I had a toy of Crash in his motorcycle jacket. I was having so much fun with him one day until I dropped him and fucking broke him. I actually cried; Crash was is one of the stars of my childhood. Hell, my prized plush toy as a kid was a Crash Bandicoot doll.
