technically the sacrifice is l4d2 dlc, isn't it. it would be an insane waste of ressources porting all the l4d2 content into the first game so it's sort of funny how the original application (left4dead1) remains untouched after all

How is it a Left 4 Dead 2 campaign?

Chet confirmed it. You can play The Sacrifice in Left 4 Dead 2 as the original survivors. Most likely, you'll get to see Left 4 Dead 2's weapons, items, and the infected in the second version.

It probably isn't even in development, just be thankful for what they're doing now, and not what you want them to do.[/QUOTE] Lol funny thing is a couple days ago I was reading some of my old PC Gamer magazines and this one issue ( I think it was August 2007? ) had an article on Episode 2 and an interview with one of the dev's and they were talking about how they started simultaneously working on Episode 3 with Episode 2. Yeah right. But still I'm not as pessimistic as everyone here when it comes to Episode 3, I'm pretty sure they've been developing it for a while now.
