Why is it that nearly every Crysis 2 media released is on the xbox360? I can't even get a sense of graphical improvement from the first one, because all the videos I see have shitty xbox360 graphics. With the first game they were always releasing demonstrations to show off their awesome graphics. With Crysis 2 it's almost like they're avoiding it.

They're showing off the multiplatform abilities of the engine. And honestly, it's not much worse. :\ It still looks stunning on the consoles, IMO.

So far, it looks like the hugest letdown in any game I've seen for a long time, It doesn't resemble crysis at all. I was expecting Crytek to sucker up to the chance of making big bucks, by slapping some huge aliens blowing the fuck out of New York City, with buildings collapsing and a bunch of soldiers with gas masks. Now all the 12 year old's can cream themselves.

I think we're all just worried that Crytek is gonna give in to the horrible fad of porting from console to pc instead of porting pc to console (like it should be). Alot of recent games, not just MW2, have been straight console ports, and it's shitty. We PC gamers have a higher standard for games. Simple graphics settings that are nothing more than "Graphics Details: Low, Medium, Or High?" are absolute crap. We wanna set each graphics setting separately, and while we can go into config files to for a more in-depth graphics tweak, we shouldn't have to. Oh and Matchmaking? On PC? PC is great and better for games on the Xbox and Playstation, but I like the consoles better because of Nintendo. They make beautiful, original, and revolutionary games all of the time, and the PC can't get them. It actually makes me feel kind of sad that they can't experience them. Here's my two cents: Get a good PC, and just buy the Nintendo consoles.

If anything, as a business decision, it is a good move to put their game on consoles. Everyone knows that piracy is rife in the PC games market, and to a lesser extent on consoles. Really all they're doing is trying to maximise profits. So you all can stop ranting about them "selling out to consoles".

This entire thread is dumb. A game being multi-platform shouldn't be an excuse to make it bad. It's the developer's fault if the game is bad, or a port of a console version, not the console's fault. If a developer really can't make changes between the PC and Console version, they're shitty developers, pretty simple.

I don't understand how this 'insults' PC gamers. If you feel insulted that the game is going onto consoles, you have problems.

I Feel like this will be a Great Game i plan on buying, and that's that. Am i the only one who liked the design of the aliens? I mean Floating squid monsters..you can't say the way they attack or move was awesome.

They were stolen from Morrowind :P Just with somewhat armor and better graphics.

This all happened before with far cry 1 stop whining. It even got on the gamecube for god sake.
