What did you guys think of the plot?
I thought it was pretty good, Carlito was like the Joker or the guy from Saw, always had a backup plan.

Maybe he had many backup plans, but he was in no way as good as the Joker.
Also you could actually surprise him, to difference of the Joker who always laughs in your face no matter what you accomplish.
Wishlist for this game: Better NPC pathfinding
Damn, DR1 had a really awful pathfinding system, sometimes survivors or enemies get stuck running against walls, ruining the fun :(

Yeah and they got themselves killed all the time.
It was so annoying.
Survivors need to be able to handle themselves to an extent.
Oh and who else completely ignored that Kent guy on every playthrough? He was a dickhead.
Man, I fucking hated him. Every time I played I wouldn't ignore him, though. I would grab that sledgehammer from the warehouse and beat him to death with it.
Survivors need to be able to handle themselves to an extent.
Give them some shotguns and they did pretty well, depending on who it is you're escorting.
The cowardly ones were still difficult to rescue, though..
Well it's on PC so someone will have a model replacement within the first hour of release.
Looks like I'm buying it on PC.
that's what i was referring to really.. considering you don't find out frank's infected until overtime mode's beginning
but even though the ending claims that he made out it out alive and was able to tell the story, he was still infected and bella's medicine was temporary
yet again she said she didn't know how long the medicine would last, so yeah, frank should be in this game
Perhaps the "ZombieX" was a modification to Isabella's anti-zombie antidote to make it a permanent solution?
me wants SDK for pc
I came.
Twice.
Then was horrified at what I came at.

Did anybody else notice how the Male AI was better than the Female AI? The male AI would rarely get stuck amongst eachother as often, and the females when grouped together would get stuck and get in a constant loop of pushing eachother.

Well they weren't used to situations out of the kitchen...

They probably knew this, so in order to help fix it they made it so that all the girls in the game couldn't hold weapons unless they had a boyfriend in the game, so you could just hold their hand and get them the fuck out of there. This was annoying btw.

The only annoying things about the hand holding system:
Frank turns around when the hand holding is initiated. In a small room, you would turn BACK around, hit the wall, and dislodge hands. Repeat.
And trying to rescue more than one girl at a time (Say, 7, like I tried to do once. But the example would most commonly work for the mission when you rescue them from the police in which there are 4). Sure, you can hold one girls hand, but then you can't kill zombies. You can let go to kill zombies, but that just takes too long. Or, you could do the only thing you can really do, is kill zombies and have them follow you. But that doesn't work because they RANDOMLY RUN OFF IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS FOR NO REASON AND GET THEMSELVES KILLED. And they get stuck in small places because they CAN'T GET PAST EACHOTHER.

and when they feel like it they'll try to fight off a few zombies with their bare hands rather then following you
the ai is what made me rage the most with the game
I hope they add in a Co-op thing. Multiplayer in this game would just be great,

This is why I eventually decided to just lead them to their demise, then watch all of their cool/gross death sequences.
I took pictures of every survivor but didn't save a single one, all of them died before the overpowered mini saw and three skill books.

Nothing like watching that fat hoe getting her insides pulled out.

If you own a 360 and not have Dead Rising, you're a great big fat tit.

If you got it on wii while you own a 360, congrats you playing a completly different game. This makes you a great big fat tit with no nipples.
I have decided to play through again. The AI is pissing me off, no wonder I never got the 'Frank the Pimp' Achievement

Try getting Saint...
The AI...
It can sense you are trying to get it...
It shows no mercy...
Is that the one for getting them all? if so done that.
I'm so getting this one.

Agreed.
That one death sequence for the males where a zombie girl bites their crotch out is funny

If you watch closely at 00:35, you’ll see a message along the lines of ‘take once every 24 hours’. So maybe players have to find and take the Zombrex medication once a day to avoid turning into a zombie.

I was freaking two survivors off of that acheivment on my first play through, but noooo, them freaking convicts just had to run over my entourage.
This is after I had killed the convicts once already, which annoyed me more.
Respawning convicts annoy anyone else to the point of huge rage?

Yes, In two I hope they dont keep bring back bosses. More bosses would be great. Bosses added to the game.
In the sequel I hope some of the survivors are hostile. Not as important as the qhsycos (sp?) but it will spruce it up a bit fighting a few more people than just zombies.
A boss with a chainsaw is very much needed
