this is the best WWII game ever!!! EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just bought this game, and used the gift passes. Still installing but hopefully it will be done soon.
Darkest Hour is really good.
Steam account name? (PM me if you want to)
PM'd you.
Darkest Hour is indeed even more fun then Red Orchestra. It just needs a few more good maps.
DOWNLOADED! I hope i am not disappointed.
Red Orchestra is pretty awesome, but I gotta say Darkest Hour is a bit more fun.

Darkest Hour is great, lying in a ditch letting krauts run past you and shooting them in the back with your M1 Garand. :3
Just bought Red Orchestra for $5 on Saturday. A bit too slow paced for me, but still fun. And it hasn't changed my mind about vehicles in games, I much prefer infantry only. Luckily, I found an infantry server.
Hey can someone get me a the game or at least a guest pass pm me if your willing too.
I vote we have a game of DH on July 1st (Canada day). Juno Beach, of course.
I've got the game on disc, does anyone know how big the game is to install just downloading it off steam or just the patchs?
I've got the game on disc, does anyone know how big the game is to install just downloading it off steam or just the patchs?
Game was 2gb or so, the two mods were 800 each. Ok, I think i might install it later, never did play it properly
I dont like how american weapons are overpowered. I'm so badass, who needs an AT class. :D [editline]01:16AM[/editline]
Just bought Red Orchestra for $5 on Saturday. A bit too slow paced for me, but still fun. It's pretty good, I like it.
this game is the best fifteen dollars i've ever spent, no playthrough is ever the same!!!!
I'd play this more but the community is too small. It's next to impossible to find a populated server with good ping that isn't just 24/7 arad.

Found a cool map on the RO forums (it is called enemyatthegates2) and it takes place in stalingrad. At the volga river crossings and at the red square. Pretty cool map (i only played it with bots though since noone is hosting it :( )
Where are you from? For Red Orchestra I see loads of servers with good pings and map rotations..
True, everytime i play there's at least 3 or 4 50/50 servers with nice pings.
I've been looking for a good WW2 game for a long time, played BF1942 to death, might aswell try Red Orchestra :v: Looks bloody awesome!
Are the guest passes for an expansion/mod or the original game?
Just got done doing some tank warfare with a few friends on Darkest hour. Lots of fun, 2 of us in one tank and then another friend in his own tank. We managed to find a good cover/foliage area and ambushed a shit load of german tanks. I think I ended up with a score of 79 or something. Some asshole called 'infamous' joined though and started team attacking so we owned him anyway and carrier on back with it.
I love how you can shoot weapons out of people hands, I love doing that, then I watch them frantically scurry about trying to find the gun they dropped, when they find it, I reward them with a bullet to the brain.
Just bought RO, downloading now :v: Signing into the FP group
Darkest Hour is indeed even more fun then Red Orchestra. It just needs a few more good maps.
I disagree. There are too many games about the Western Front that Darkest Hour simply does not feel unique. Plus, the sounds and animations for the Western guns really get to me...

I can't wait to play the game :v: Possible to play singleplayer too?
