Ahahahahahaha....
hahahahahaha....
hahahaha...
ahaha..
ha..
Sorry, if we wanted something that unrealistic we'd just play CS:S.
Get a copy of ArmA and get ACE2 and throw PR away, they've long ruined that mod and made it a unrealistic piece of shit.
Going to reinstall this again, anyone wants to play?

Troll.
Sorry already have ACE2.
Project reality is extremely fun, sorry if the game is to complicated for you.
Re installing this
I have to admit that PR doesn't have the best ballistics
I hate being poor, this game looks sooooooooo good
i don't even have $5 :(

Project Reality is horribly unrealistic, to the point it isn't fun.
One of the basic flaws is the fact that M249s are not laser weapons that fire a stream of lead that can hit a dime at 200 meters, and if you point a M16 at someone and pull the trigger at medium-short range it will kill them, not land 3 feet to their right.
That and every update they make it take longer to get to the frontline so I imagine by 1.0 the game will just be a hiking simulator.

Join us 386th guys, we have a server and everything.
How long will it stay $5 on steam?

If Arma 2 isn't already a hiking simulator then you're just blind.
Also it's called deviation, its to stop the god awful prone whoring from BF2. Project reality is about patience, which you obviously don't have.
Also the SAW also has deviation so i guess you played it for 2 seconds and then quitted, probably explaining the how inpatient you are.
they're making a new one?
i am probably the only person on the world that thinks RO is disappointing. It does some things well, but besides that it's too much about going in and making kills. Not so much a common goal. The tank part also sucks..
The only thing RO gives you is immersion.

Love this game, recently reinstalled it and got back into it.
Can't say I like the tank maps when there are less than 10 or so people, but the smaller tank ones are good.
I prefer the city maps, I am pro with bolt action rifles
I actually prefer them to SMG's and assault rifles, but it depends on the map.
Purchased it :buddy:

look at the specials tab at the steam store home page
yes yes yes fuck yes.
I've been waiting for it to go on sale for months now.
The game's tank ballistics are accurate.
I hate it and love it at the same time.

Yes accurate to make all russian tanks overpowered. It rains shells when the germans start shooting at russian tanks.. This game is seriously biased toward to the russians.

You are actually... Calling an ArmA 2 player impatient?, Wow you crushed your own case right there.

So you are calling him impatient, when you yourself don't even take the time to spell correctly.

Calling an ArmA player impatient.
Ever tried a map larger than 100km?

It's not so much a developer decision as it is a development limitation. The BF2 editor is very limited compared to the Source SDK, or the UT3 editor. Because they couldn't integrate proper ballistics or aiming, they settled on the current system which simulates the time and stability needed to shoot a target.
This game would own if it had a larger fan base
I love this game, but I hate the oddities that occur occasionally in it, like how 4 SMG shots to the legs and chest won't kill someone, but one shot to the leg, arm, or chest with another weapon will at times. It's much better than other WW2 games out there though.
Been playing since it was just a weeee project. Anyone remember the old Berlin map? Lots of fun. There were a number of really good old maps that they axed. Can't quite pin down names in my head... hrmm.
I played the original UT mod a while back and I was wondering why they changed the bullet sprites for the MG on the half-track. Shooting at the ground never looked so cool.
Played Darkest Hour on the Omaha Beach map as allies, it was fun even though most of it was just sprinting hoping the MGs weren't aiming at you on the actual beach part.

I'd say that's a pretty actual portrait of what happened on June 6th 1944 :v:
I just bought the game and it came with two guest passes if anyone wants one.
Also have two for killing floor.
Same, have two Killing Floor guest passes.
Also, I officially hate large ass tank maps. >:(

It was like being in Saving Private Ryan. :v:
Sprinting and diving into the craters and having bullets whiz past your head was awesome. I also managed to get a headshot on some guy in a bunker. :buddy:
Is Darkest hour populated enough to play decently?
