Actualy it is:
1. Toned down mg tracers. -MGers wont get pixelsniped after first burst.
2. Added suppresion- You get a blur + hand shake even from rifle fire, MG can pin a whole squad.
3. Toned down grenades- Small step away from reality but huge step towards gameplay, nadespam is not effective, you still can use grenades but you have to know where your target is before thrownig, random throwing towards enemy gets you only rarely a frag.
4. Accuracy a bit lowered + you get faster weapon shake. -Yup, no more pixelsniping.
5. 1.+ 2. + 4.- prolonged firefights. You are finaly fighting instead of running and dieing like in vanila RO.
Feel free to disagree, but this is how i feel it from my experience.
I've had it for some time but never really played it. Might install this weekend.

tank maps are fucking amazing if you know what you're doing with a tank.
A little while back me and Hyena from the 386th killed a King Tiger with a Stuart. Was an epic 5 min long duel and we finally set him on fire after hitting him 46 times.

Last time I played DH, I noticed some of the weapons were ported from other games.. That was like 5-6 months ago though.. have they fixed it? Like the game in general? I also noticed several bugs in the game, namely with the MG's and such. Sorta turned me off.
You know what'd make this game 10 times better for me?
Classes should be randomized, not so that the guy with the fastest computer always gets to play sniper.

Maybe not randomized, some other system at least. Rifleman is great but I'd like to play something else every now and then

Yea. It's pretty shit because the guy who always has a really fast computer and gets it is the guy who has no idea wtf he is doing.
I could always get sniper, but I leave it for better players UNLESS no one takes it.
Some great news for all Red orchestra fans, Darkest Hour 4.0 got released today. It adds climbing over objects, new weapons, new tanks, new maps and it fixes a lot of old bugs. If you have Darkest Hour installed steam will auto update your game.

Not sure about that but the Darkest Hour team already confirmed they are going to remake the mod for HoS. Should be awesome.
Did the Darkest Hour team significantly improve their weapon animations for 4.0?

An awesome thing to do is, get your buddy to play with you RO and both of us play on a tank map in a single tank. It's great CooP and hilarious when you see the enemy incoming shell.
Logitech ran out of free codes. Thankfully I got mine last night.

Man, the facebook thing was a bad idea. They should have given them away on Bohemia Interactive forums or something. The amount of retards I've run into on the game is astounding.

logitech gave out free codes to people who liked their facebook page. thankfully i got my code before they said they had 6000 codes left.
