The thing that seperates this from most is that you need skill.

Man, I forgot how good this game is. Full servers are awesome.

I didn't really enjoy this game... I could only choose Squad Leader, since everyone else was the other classes, and goddamit I died a lot. It's just run out into the battlefield, and POW, something kills you.

I like the game but playing with a constant ping of 300 is frustrating, barely any Australians play. I saw a server with 5 people on an Aussie server other than that they have all been empty.

I was playing on that server, there was only 2 people playing, but I invited 2 of my friends to play it too.

Got this for free from facebook, only played it for about 5 minutes and I'm going to play it later after done playing Xbox. :buddy:

Also, squad leader sucks in an open map, since you're usually stuck with the MP-40/1, or the PPSH, but then again a lot of people are good with them. I personally stick to the semi-auto rifles, or the bolt-actions. And god help you if you can get sniper. Shit it's fun. It's just run out into the battlefield, and POW, something kills you.[/QUOTE] Uh, the only classes that only have one player max are Sniper, Squad Leader and Tank Commander and meaning that if there were only a few people playing you should have been able to have gone: Rifleman, Semi-automatic Rifleman, Assault, Engineer, Anti-tank soldier, Tank Crewman and Machinegunner. You can have infinite riflemen and generally six Semi-auto riflemen and assaults, two engineers, 3 AT soldiers (I think), infinite tank crewmen and two machinegunners. Also, when you first play the game you're going to die a lot simply because most weapons are 1 or 2 shot kills to the chest. It is a lot more fun when you get to play on a full server for simple things such as the fact bayonet charges work.

Oh jeez, I haven't played this one in a long while. To busy on Starcraft 2 or L4d2 Any good servers I should check out on RO and Darkest Hour?

Does anyone else find blowing up tanks and stuff with panzershreks absolutely badass? I mean, how badass it is when the building you're sitting in is attacked by a halftruck and a tank and you manage to blow up both with a couple of panzershreks without getting killed?

I don't get it why everyone plays Zhitomir and Berezina. They're boring and shite. Maps like Kaukasus, Konigsplatz, Odessa and Toola Outskirts are awesome.

I had my first proper (no lag) game yesterday, we were on the D-Day map for around 2 hours. I was on the American side and it was so hard but amazing, I'm gonna be playing this for a while I think.

I've never gotten a kill in this game. Are there any major tips I should be aware of?

Depending on your ping, you will need to lead quite a bit.
