I need to find some good servers for this.
It's depressing to paly a game where no one uses the chat or the microphone.
Can you guys recommend some good servers?

I had always assumed there was going to be tanks anyway, I didn't realize there was a point where it was uncertain.
Aren't there only going to be 2 tanks at release because of the amount of detail they put into them?

Yeah they are and it really shows. Holy crap, I saw a video of the interiour and the first person transitions when you move around. It's incredible!
Don't remember what video exactly, it's from when TWI went to Russia a while back.

Nah but I don't mind because I normally only play infantry maps anyways. Also the awesome detail will be very nice and knowing TWI they will add more in patches as time passes, just like they did with KF and RO. Man I love TWI

That's because tactics like those work in a campaign setting. Not a battle one. If you're a partisan group and you've been engaged by a large, organized enemy force that knows exactly what the deal is, then you gone dun fucked up.

Yep, the T-34/76 '41 and the Pz. IV Ausf. J A2 (I think, it's one of the earlier models.)
There needs to be some tutorial video or something, because game isn't really easy to learn.

What's so hard about it ? just look at your map, go to the objectives, aim and shoot.

Most likely it's the PzIV Ausf. G, since the Ausf. J didn't come around until 1944, the Ausf. H came in after the battle of Stalingrad.

Yeah, the influx of new people who drive their tiger/panther up in front of my IS2, don't care to angle it, and either hit my mantlet/miss entirely is really good for target practice.

I'm more partial to ramming tanks meself. Everybody on the soviet team always goes for the IS2's, so sometimes you need to make due with the smaller tanks. Slamming it in the side and giving it a nice point blank tungsten injection is a great way to take out those larger germans tanks with measly medium soviet tanks; shock and awe motherfuckers!
Tried to do that to a StuG in a 34-85, got promptly panthered. :saddowns:
You need to be stealthy. I know it sounds hard to be stealthy in a tank, but nobody will suspect you to come up from right behind them or beside them when they are firing at targets in front.
Last time I used that was in DH. I was driving a sherman with another person in the gun, we did a 1 for 1 shot exchange with a panther, and " I was like "fuck this" so I drove into a nearby hedgerow to vanish and busted out right in his face. Almost flipped his tank into a ditch before my gunner blasted him point blank.
It was in the 29th server, Im surprised they didnt ban me :rolleye:
then again I was being a massive idiot by driving right up to the river in arad_realforest so w/e

It was more me getting used to the tank reticule and where to aim using it and knowing which bits on it over and under shot than anything.
It might have been a couple of tigers, albeit the same guy twice.
I don't think i did so bad when I was driving the is2 for you, if we'd have been on teamspeak and you giving me detailed instructions of what you wanted, i'd have been a lot better.

Might have been a T-34-85. The 85mm is able to penetrate the Tiger to the front.
I have a strong feeling that he was playing on PTAI-WTF.
