not excited for jp4, but fuck yeah hellcat
jp4 > hellcat
jp4 > hellcat
I can see the Hellcat being very useful if you 2man it. On tankservers almost any German tank is 1manned, i've seen King Tigers go up in flames against 2manned Stuarts.
Darkest Hour just got another media update where they show off how the mortar works and that the update for the mod is coming in spring this year. Can't fucking wait to use those mortars.
So then the JP4 is coming in the spring?
So then the JP4 is coming in the spring?
JP4, Marder 3, Hellcat and two armored cars that I can't remember the name of.
Am i the only one here who doesn't like darkest hour? To me the mod is just like all other ww2 shooters.... i prefer vanilla RO because it's something else

Anyone have a Facepunch server up?
How long is the learning curve for this? I sometimes find the recoil ridiculous on some weapons because i'm not used to it. I'll probably be a sniper. [editline]6th March 2011[/editline]
Anyone have a Facepunch server up?
This. Would be better if we had a small community going :)

How do you hit that target besides just firing then adjusting?
Will they also be fixing most of the random crashes I get? I crash for no good reason most of the time.
Never experienced any crashes
So wait, the forward observer marks the target, and then all the mortar crew gets is a mark on the map? If the marked target gives the exact horizontal and vertical traverse that the gunner should aim to, disgunbgud
Like real soldiers did it. I don't. Hopefully it doesn't give you the exact angles though, would make it too easy. Maybe a range of angles or something.

All the gunners have to do is match his gunnery instruments to the data provided. That's basically all you need to do.
My friend got a WWII magazine from his grandma, and there was an article ridiculing Call of Duty and praising RO2 for being realistic.
Vanilla RO is fun when it comes to infantry but otherwise I prefer DH when it comes to tanking.
Huh, I much preferred the tanking in RO and prefer the infantry in DH
I like the selection of tanks and general feel of the tanks from DH more, but I like the smaller maps in RO where you can actually combined-arms effectively and not have to drive 10 minutes to get blown up by a Jagdpanther a kilometer off in some trees.
Never experienced any crashes
I get them every time I play.
The new update for Darkest Hour is out by the way, it's awesome. Tons of new vehicles incl the Jagdtiger. Release trailer here:
JagdTiger is way OP [editline]8th May 2011[/editline] But it should be, I suppose.
