Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 [Not just a normal WWII game] - Games

Yeah, gonna buy that game but I truly want that I can destroy some tanks with Tiger. In Red Orchestra, Tiger feels like shit to destroy anything from russians.

Just play like how you would behave irl, with only 1 life. Take cover alot, hide and only fire when you have a clear shot. Rambo rushing isn't getting you anywhere in this game. I'm not very good at it either, but i really enjoy it. By far the best game that gives you "im in a war" feeling.

Especially in that stupid map FallenHeroes where everyone is so bloody keen on sitting in the buildings and sniping at tiny pixels, thinking they're actually hitting something. I remember that one time I got a Russian tank commander kit, because the grey coveralls resembles a German soldier, and started to charge the capture points. I managed 100++ points on that, good times. :smug: [editline]08:16PM[/editline] With an automatic weapon in tight corners, iron sights become null and void. Hip shooting is the way to go, I guess that's what 300 hours of playing does to you. :geno:

Everyone should have Darkest Hour. It's a great mod and we play it much of the time. Doommarine, dudders, and I were playing it yesterday with a little teamwork. It occasionally worked out but our teammates were fucking stupid. If we can get like 6 people with it on at a time we could do a squad which would dominate.

Oh god I hate Darkest Hour. Most of the models are so ugly and blocky, and the sounds are horrid.

I really like this game because it's different from other FPS, especially the realism. One time I'm running like hell into a building while getting shot at, and I get my gun shot out of my hand, and then I run back outside to grab my gun, and run back inside up the stairs. Then 2 enemies coming up the stairs, shooting one in the head and stabbing the other with my bayonet...and then I get picked off with a sniper shot through the window. This is a great game, really worth the small price. I prefer more close quarters battles like danzig as opposed to large scale battles with tanks in this game though.

Tank maps suck in this game, that's my only quarrel with it.
