Had so much fun playing this at my friends house. Picked it up for like 3 dollars maybe 3 or 4 years back, was pretty amazed by it. The game had full-fledged ragdoll physics and dynamic lighting, which is amazing considering the hardware and that it came out in 2002/3.
I didn't grow up with any Playstations but I have a PS2 now with GT3 and Manhunt. Both fun games. I'd get Ico and Shadow of the Colossus but since I have a PS3 I'll probaby just get the HD remakes. I've heard GREAT things about those games.

My older brother sold our PS2 (We have a backwards compatible PS3) to gamestop to get a used copy of God of War 2 (Bet he probably pocketed a bit of cash as well). What a mistake that was.

Also, if you all are getting into PS2 stuff, I STRONGLY recommend getting component cables and modding your console to use [URL="http://psx-scene.com/forums/f291/gs-mode-selector-development-feedback-61808/"]GSModeSelector[/URL]. A LOT of games are supported and some look absolutely beautiful when upscaled to 1080p on a modern LCD.

I have the entire Ace Combat series, except Assault Horizon, including the Japanese AC3, which I play on my PS2 because it works best. Ace Combat is quite possibly one of the greatest series in gaming.

This was great as a big forgotten realms nerd, one of my favorite top down action games to this day. I never played the sequel, I should really try and emulate them both.

I bought PS3 to play the sequel, but by darned twist of fate, the game was cancelled after tsunami/nuclear disaster hits japan.
On top of it, my PS2 was stolen. Now I can't even play this gem. Its like losing your motherland to an alien invasion or something. It pains me until today
