Does that fix PS2 looking blurry and fuzzy on my LCD and if so then how do I setup it?
Also my PS2 is one of the older box-like ones and it refuses the run the older CD ROM format games. Does the Slim have less problems like this?

If you're running on composite (the cables that came with it, yellow/white/red) just swapping those with component cables or an S-Video cable will make a [B]huge[/B] difference. Check if your TV has a component or S-Video input, though! (component: red/green/blue/white/red s-video: one jack that looks like an old keyboard connector)
I haven't dealt with slims so I couldn't tell you if they have less disc-reading problems.

I've had 3 PS2s over the years, if you get disc read error the best solution is to crack it open and clean the lens manually. Currently using a silver fat ps2, this one has had its lens cleaned. Also using component cables.
