Notch needs to add the ability to have higher res texture packs without the stupid bug with some setting.
Something like, Texture Scale: [32p] etc and the different textures would be named terrain32.png etc...

I found out how to make HQ textures!
Change the size of the terrain.png to 512 x 512 and minecraft automatically changes the tile size.

You're very late, and it causes a bug with texture maps higher than 512x512 (e.g. 1024x1024, etc)

What's up MY ass is that people used to be happy for updates, nobody used to complain when Notch added a block or put in a cool new feature. When Notch left for vacation or a trip or whatever people looked forward to his return, not dreading the fact that he has a life and does things other than make what they want him to make for Minecraft. This game used to have a GOOD community, damn it, and now it's full of whining babies arguing about who does and doesn't get on whose server and the fact that Notch didn't put in what they wanted or blah blah blah, and it's really pissing me off. I was part of the original community for this game, and I enjoyed it until suddenly people started complaining about this or that, now I can't even [I]browse[/I] this thread without getting angry at someone.

Dude, the game has recently gotten UNBELIEVABLY popular. Do you know how often this happens to a one-man indie developer? He can take all the trips he wants, I paid to play a game that is in development, that means if it goes without being updated for two weeks, fine, I don't expect constant updates unlike most of the "new" people that rolled in are.
Do you guys realize that Notch is going to talk to Valve and that one of the reasons for this trip is to look into putting together a team for minecraft? Ya, it might be annoying now, but in the long run Minecraft will most likely be much better because of this trip.

I just bought the game, entered singleplayer and I have no idea what to do. It seems like my type of game, I just need some starting help. Where's these crafting tiles?
I dug myself underground and nighttime came.. I haven't been this scared for a while.. Neat.
How do I know that I'm playing the bought version and not some feature lacking demo? I JUST send the money via paypal, but I didn't get any key or something..
