I'd like to think that eventually Notch is going to make worldmaps a lot more varied, so hopefully that will encourage people to build fresh, and take away the sting of losing your old stuff.

I actually really like it and would love for you to release it. The only thing I don't like is the blue hud.
It's probably the texture pack I'm closest to using I hate them usually.
Notch could change the default textures to pictures of penises and I'd still use it over texture packs.

The thing that bothers me about default textures is how highly saturated they are, and the god awful cobblestone texture.
I have the to try making a tileset myself actually. Probably won't release it publically so to avoid the humiliation of "HURF DURF VANILLA FFFFFF" posts.
