The only thing about those textures I don't like are the environments. Like the grass and stone. If I could get that pack with just the wood and misc blocks I'd be all over it.

I got two people into minecraft. So far, they love it. SPREAD IT AROUND, GUYS!

Every time I start a new world, I always find myself making a large box-shape house, then adding tons of extensions. Storage and viewing tower, garden room, underground safe, animal pen.. By the way, I know reloading a snowing map can cause it to stop snowing, but can it work in reverse? like, a sunny map suddenly is snowy when you regenerate it?

So, I just got the game yesterday. Played around forever on the island I spawned on then moved on. Found this gigantic island with this massive mountain and built a house on the top. I added more and more until I decided that I was going to tunnel it out and create a cart that goes to the bottom so I can get down faster. There was a forum thread on the Minecraft forums but I can't find it. Apparently, [url=http://www.moddb.com/games/minecraft/addons/let-it-snow]this is the file[/url] that lets you do that.

For me whenever minecraft.net is down I can go on in offline mode but I have to wait for ages at the log-in screen, and it looks like it's frozen.
