there's a random chance of getting snow when you start a new game, there are no seasons so you will have snow forever

There is a chance that any map generated will be a snowy map.
There are ways to change one's map to a snowy one, but they aren't very reliable.
So it's random on world creation.

What's the matter of playing infdev MP if you're getting infinite materials?

Day and night and dynamic environments I guess. Thats the only benefit I can see over creative when you have unlimited stuff.

There are others that don't, I personally am more of a aesthetic type of gamer, so I need more detail then there already is.

I normally don't use texture packs, but I love the look of the skin I have.
Yes I have seen and used many texture packs but the one shown in Frewb's screenshots is probably the best. It is (in my opinion) the only texture pack that I feel could officially replace Notch's.
