It's more than possible but I don't see a good way of specifying who is who in relation to the mumble lobby and people on a minecraft server. Maybe it would require you to have the same mumble name as your in-game name?

Mumble is a VoIP software like Teamspeak and Ventrilo. I prefer Mumble cause it has so good quality.

Teamspeak3 has just as good quality, just up to the server owners to turn the quality up a notch.

The plugin gathers coordinates on each client, then sends them to the server.
Server then gives those coordinates to everyone, and if they have the positional audio setting enabled, the sound position gets calculated (on client).
