What you do is dig streight down as far as you can until you hit a cave or the bottom. Hit the bottom? Spawn again. Hit a cave? Go exporing.
The one problem with these is that people will put them in the strangest places, on top of mountains, on the side of roads, near the entrances of caves. A lot of the times they are failed digs and there is lava at the bottom. If the lava is only 1 block deep, you die on contact. If you don't respawn in midair, you fall to your death and ALL YOUR STUFF IS GONE. Tough luck.
I think this should be banned in all servers, or at least force people to cover them up once they get 3 blocks down. I've lost more than 10 diamonds to it, all my diamond tools, 64+ iron, loads of cactus, and more stuff than could fit in my inventory over time. I'm just annoyed to no end.

I dig straight down to the bottom then build blocks under me back to the top.
At least it doesn't leave huge holes everywhere. :v:

Hello.
Latest and probably final release of Flatcraft is coming out shortly, all known bugs have been fixed and everything I wanted done is complete.
The only reason I'd have to update now is if Notch adds new Bricks, Items, Mobs or something that uses skins.
Will post links soon and I believe Dan* is going to add it to the OP as well.
