Ohhh i see now, yea thats pretty cool, i would extend it once you have the extra stone. Unless expanding your house stone is useless anyways and usually ends up cluttering ones inventory. Cant wait for chests in SMP, and the exploit to dissapear :D
Edit: Although now that i take a second thought, glass wasn't too smart to choose from for siding :/

How did you expand the lava, buckets or sand?
I can't really get into this. It reminds me of Dwarf Fortress with more intuitive controls and in 3D. The majority of my time in this game is spent building elaborate structures so I can just stand back for a moment and go, "Huh. That looks pretty cool. Sucks that I spent a few hours on it, though."
It feels a lot like work and not a lot like a game. My opinion, of course, though.
Perhaps PvP will bring something interesting into it.

yes you are missing the point it isnt that moment that makes the game that is just the destination, the goal, you dont finish halo and think that. so why would you think it here?

Because when I finished Halo, not only did I think it was more dynamic and straightforward as far as games go, but I also thought it was absolutely horrible. I didn't spend five hours neatly placing blocks before I fought hunters in Halo, I simply fought them.

What I'm saying is that it's a completely different game. Seriously, not even remotely close in any way to Minecraft. The developers clearly, however, had a better design plan than Notch currently does.
