I'm feeling like SMP, but none of the IP's I have/had work anymore. Any takers for me?
A few friends and I have been playing minecraft for a couple weeks now. We started exploring and just built a few waypoints so we'd not get lost anymore, then gradually developed them into towns or outposts. Finally the last few days we made a city that was pretty far away from the spawn so we decided to make an underground aqueduct to travel more quickly by boat.

Playing on peaceful(now), deleted my first world out of rage, which I partially regret. Now I'm mining, and hearing noises that are still a mystery. I swear notch is poking at my world with sounds that don't belong.

That is a block that has not been rendered. Most likely it is stone so don't bother with it.

that's just a glitch with dynamic lighting. there isnt anything there.
