I think they just literally let in like everyone or something, but I got in too!
Yep, also in and installed
Apart from my Mint partition is only 10GB, so I can't install TF2 :suicide:
I'm having quite a bit of trouble getting Steam moved over onto a my separate NTFS partition on my thumb drive. Anyone know how I'd go about this?
Anyone else having problems with Steam crashing when you try to take a screenshot?
Got in :) I was using it before though.
Ugh. It doesn't even launch when I try to start it. Running Lubuntu 12.04 (or 12.10, how check?). Basicly Ubuntu with LXDE.
If anyone in here is using the Steam for Linux beta, and got TF2 working using Open source drivers, LET ME KNOW! I still haven't gotten those working yet :C
I just got in! Great.

No one will refer you to this, but I think it'll be useful for testing: fluxbox.

Maybe with dmenu and a keybinding for dmenu_run.

Cool fluxbox looks prety awesome, a bit noob unfriendly but hope that themes can resolve that.

I think that Mate on ubuntu 12.04 required GNOME 3 fallback session,
Atm i am testing the ubuntu 2d unity that come installed with ubuntu 12.04 and it works better in the netbook.
Ty for the help

I'm not sure on Ubuntu, but by default MATE is completely independent of any GNOME 3 related libraries and runtimes.
I read the blog, and nowhere does it state you need GNOME 3 or the fallback mode to run MATE. I think you're just confused by the bad layout and horrible punctuation in the blog post.
Only the games you have in your library (that work with Linux.)

Because nautilus is awful, use PCManFM/Dolphin.
Also I like Openbox for it's huge amount of support, but that's just me
