I'm not defending him, I'm defending the fact that it'd be nice to be able to actually raid at reasonable times and on a regular basis.

I agree with why Jethro done it. No need to start a big fight over it, we're a small guild and if someone doesn't show up no one raids that night unless we pug. So to be fair we talked about it in the guild before anything was decided.

that's the difference though, it wouldn't matter as much if it was a raider who joined and didn't inform anyone about stuff like that but it's the fact that jeth, being a friend of lees knew fully well when he was available to raid etc and then turning around and saying about his times... pretty dick move for "friends"

As far as I was told on a few occasions when everyone was waiting people just didn't show up. That's what he meant by giving a heads up earlier.

I'll post this here once so no one is under any illusions about what happened and why in regaurds to me recruiting people from outside Facepunch and our group of friends. Lee. You have no definate time you can log on, it varies from day to day. you say you will be on at 9:30 and don't log on for half an hour, or not at all. we NEED people from outside FP to make the guild work, if we pug they won't be there for a second raid day, and if we find people to raid with, it's unfair to make them raid at unsociable hours. People want and need regular raiding days and times, preferbly starting early. we tried to make it work, but it wasn't. starting that late was unfair on alot of people, including pnukup who is an hour ahead of us anyway, and he wasn't getting off till like 2am. I would be getting messages and wispers saying "when are we starting" "why havn't invites started yet?" and I honestly didn't know when you would be on so I could start the raid. I havn't found a replacement DPS yet. but our raid times are now 8pm BST on wednesdays and Sundays. if you can make that then by all means let me know. Matt, the tank spot is still there for you, I'm sorry shit has been going down recently and I hope you've been ok. yes you said thursday was a maybe, but you also said you'd let me know as soon as possible, but I heard nothing. I'm left sitting around, no idea what anyone is doing, with people wanting to raid. I'll say the same as I've said to lee, the raid times are now 8pm wednesday and sunday. if you can make that every week (extraneous circumstances allowing), then I would love for you to carry on tanking. Yes this is a social raiding guild and yes it is suposed to be casual. BUT we still want to raid and the way it was going in the last 2 weeks really really wasn't working. and after talking to others in the guild, I think this is the best result to carry on progressing onwards to lich king. you are both still in the guild, you havn't been kicked or anything like that. as far as others letting us down, Jim being tired from work is fair enough, but you could have let me know. and Nath just didn't care. not knowing what half your raid team were doing is hard when you're trying to make a raid team progress. If you want to talk to me propperly about this then by all means give me a ring.

As witnessed back in TBC and more recently with the release of wrath. I cannot promise what time i would get on and you have known that for 3 years. I dont think 21:30 is unreasonable to get shit done.

Fact is though, MMO's are build around keeping you playing by forcing you to have some attendance each day (dailies) or week (raids). Sure, dailies are done around your time, but if you're gonna want to do raids you'll have to adjust some of your schedule. It's fact. But whatever.

I don't blame you for it. you have a family and they come first. you say starting at 10 is personally fine for you and you see nothing wrong with it, but it's not fine for the majority of others. we tried to make it work, we waited till half nine, then 10 on more than one occasion. I bent over backwards to make sure you had a raid spot with pressure from others in the group/guild to start earlier. if we want to kill lich king and start hard modes, we have to have defned raid days and times.
