The multiplayer is still alive if anyone was wondering.
Well It was last time I played a few weeks ago. There was always 1,000+ players playing and a lot of servers.

or a joke
The explosions in Allied Assault were great

I wasted a lot of time playing multiplayer as well, mostly on the objective maps. Then the landsharkers ruined multiplayer for me forever.
I love this game to death. The Trondheim mission is one of the best levels in gaming.
The only real MoH I played was Frontline on the Xbox a long time ago.
but I only faintly remember Allied Assault, I have a copy around here somewhere.
That sniper town was absolutely hard for me.
Memories, I loved this game. I actually youtubed this weeks ago for nostalgia. Terrible layout of how people die, reload etc ... never noticed it since back then it was considered high tech, but the gameplay is still cool.
In multiplayer there was a shit load of easter eggs of secret things you can do. Getting on top of the bunker in Omaha Beach, going underneath the map of Omaha and being able to shoot people from below and since you were beneath ground they couldn't see you, running on telephone wires to get on top of church roofs, locking doors, etc ... awesome fun.
Unfortunatley for me, this was back when I had 56k modem so I lagged like crazy in almost every server I went into.
My MOHAA is kinda broken now, every time I installed it it won't play, says there's an error so when I try to uninstall it won't do it too, so it'd be stuck on the computer forever. It's why I'm too scared to install it on my new laptop.
I also still have the first MOH on PS1, it's so unrealistic, the mounted MG is just a box with a stick poking out one end and two handles on the other end, lol.
Kinda makes you sad when you see what the next MOH is gonna be like.
Loved it. Played that game for YEARS, been in 4 different clans, have both expansion packs (Spearhead+breaktrhough), beat the game at least 6 times.
I believe there are still some people that play it
You forgot Breakthrough.

This was the first game I ever played online.
I remember using Gamespy Arcade to run it too. I think I was around 10 when I first played.
Fuck, Gamespy was the shit, what ever happened to it? I remember the pregame lobbies where you could chat until the game was ready to launch. There were some assholes but I met a ton of nice people.

You have to pay for Gamespy now :sigh:
There hasn't been a good medal of honor game since this.
Frontline. :colbert:
Frontline. :colbert:
Agreed, frontline was pretty damn good.
Ah I have to go dig up my deluxe edition some time and reinstall it, it was one of the first PC games I played.
Last played few weeks ago, geez, its was this period when big game develoopers are on holydays, no good games comes out so you just grab one old old good game from your nostalgia box and play . . .
This period ends in this month, look at it.
Mafia II
New Vegas
Stalker II
F.3.A.R
Bethesda`s Surprise game (Next TES?)
Black Ops
Gothic 4
Bioshock Infinitr
And other coming up. Game companies working now.
Why lie, I would enjoy mw2 campaign more than MoH if you play both of them these days. Now don't call me mw2 fanboy, I have played MoH back in day it was released and enjoyed it. I'd still play it for nostalgia if I can find it.

A few years ago, I thought the online for this was dead.. then I realised that everyone just got the latest patch and played on that.
brb digging up my CD's.
I miss this game, it was one of upbringings of my childhood. :unsmith:
Ahh, the good ol' Medal of Honor. Playing the Playstaion 1 version was a laugh with my brother. Playing the PC version had the obvious upsides such as larger environments, and other friendly characters. The downside is that there are no servers left for it. Happy days.
Oh man, I love this game.
But I can't get past one sniper mission.
Fucking dogs...
I think that was the second mission. My advice : Grab an SMG, clear out the dogs if you can see them, and then hide and snipe. When they suddenly appear they are scary.
Oh god, I loved this game. I think I lost my copy though. :ohdear:
Holy fuck I just found my MOH:AA and Spearhead disks. We should set up an FP server. Landsharks will be allowed simply for comedy value.
The only good one..
But...but I liked Rising sun :frown:
So much nostalgia, this game is one of the best ww2 games i have ever played.
Allied Assault is my favourite of all the MoH. The Omaha beach mission blew my mind.
I loved the freeze tag game mode for the PC version. And the soundtrack for Frontline was amazing.
